Will Wycombe to the table? Wanderers v Wanderers, Sat 3 Aug 3pm

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

Will Wycombe to the table? Wanderers v Wanderers, Sat 3 Aug 3pm

Post by Dave Sutton's barnet » Mon Jul 29, 2019 10:54 am

Well, the club have given up on selling tickets, merely advising interested punters (like me) to buy direct from our hosts. Personally, I might hold off for a day or two.
CODE: SELECT ALL Wycombe are historically the third-biggest Wanderers, if we ignore the initial mononymous amateurs who won a few early FA Cups, but there's a good chance they'll be overtaking us this season. hat hardly matters compared to us having a team to follow at all. But whoever's in the shirt, has-beens or never-will-bes, if the match is on I will be there, chalking up another ground and another story in a lifelong adventure.

EDIT Curious - in the time it took me to write that post, our club's "buy from them" post disappeared. Good sign? Or am I just cuddling shadows?

EDIT 2 - as Brizzle notes in another thread, WWFC have published their own post stating availability: https://www.wycombewanderers.co.uk/news ... lton-fans/

I was going to go to this but am now going on a mystery weekend away booked by my girlfriend for my burfday.
Doubt I'll regret it.
However I'm going to predict a last minute registration of enough senior players to manage a 2-1 defeat (oztumer).
Oh, but surely just for one day, we could fight and we could win
And if only for a little while, we could insist on the impossible...

In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

I do apologise. I thought I remember there being a thread. Well-written, too, now you mention it. Mods, feel free to delete this thread and ban me.

TBH that sounds like it could be Wycombe away the way this is going at the moment lol

If we get a team together and the game is on - 2-0 to Bolton.

Shit don't burn, son

(except it does, if dried and compressed enough, and this is what now happens to much of London's sewage: sold as cakes to waste-to-energy facilities)
