You've allegedly been Mancs since 1974, TD. When Greater Manchester was formed. Hardly new.

Untrue! The border runs across my front lawn! :-)

Until 1974, pretty much all of Greater Manchester (which didn't exist) was in Lancashire. So I was born in Lancashire.

I thought the Boundary Stone was the boundary between Salford and Wigan?! Either way, it's a lovely part of Wigan that you live in

Boundary runs pretty much down the middle of the road. The old Yew Tree is in Wiggin, we're not. :-) I pay my dues to Salford and we're in Worsley and Eccles South parliamentary ward.

The old boundary (which followed Ellen Brook) pretty sure cuts across my front garden. :-)
