I think we're at risk of matching our points in November from last year.
Nothing going forward.
1 man up top on his own with Vela running round picking up scraps.

Howson sallies forth and....Friend, Saville...gets a free kick. Bolton nil will be glad to see lemons time. Some useless chat about City, then....Downing crosses well and we manage to escape as 2 mins added announced. Here they come and Braithwaite does a Ronaldo and the resulting cross goes just over via Shooton and....Bugle? O, Lowe, Beevers, Grounds, Beevers and....a nowhere pass gives them a throw...oh, Ronaldo has been sent off if anybody cares. 1-0 at the break.

The bigger issue is we have no wide outlets. Shame Hobbs injury happened when it did. 2 minutes later and change would have been different. We will get nowt from this and do well to avoid a tonking.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 8:31 pmGet Donaldson on. Admit you have failed. At least it might look like a 352.

A change is surely required. Take Grounds off, move Wilson to left back, and return to a back four. Bring Donaldson on. I'd also be tempted to switch O'Neil for Oztumer

Shocking.
I was gonna say at least he's got Vela up supporting Magennis but route 1 isn't working as Magennis can't even win a header (or time his leap).

Jesus. Not sure about that. No apparent intention of trying to create a chance. Not one shot on goal.
We have just ended up in a game of defence v attack.
Terrible mistake from O'Neil for their goal, otherwise the presumed plan of trying to keep it to 0-0 and get them frustrated might have worked for that half.
I think we need to change it to our normal 4-2-3-1 in the second half. I suspect he will do it at the 60-70min mark though.

TD he's incapable of playing any other way....he's a boring, negative manager that's his mindset 'don't concede', 'don't concede'....and then we usually do because we offer absolutely nothing going forward....our movement is non existent, our passing is shite, 1 striker who just gets aimless long balls twatted over his head.TANGODANCER wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 8:35 pmPHIL, YOU DON'T LOSE POINTS AT FOOTBALL, YOU JUST DON'T GET ANY IF YOU DO. Parkinson's football really is awful, sorry scrap that Parkinson is anti football, he doesn't even attempt to try and play football.

Can't get lower than zero. It was a statistical analysis. I don't think I've seen a game in which we've had not one shot.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 8:40 pmA new low? Bollocks to that. Starting to sound like twitter overreaction nonsense.

You know, Pete, for once I agree with you. Not in everything - obviously - but that is a farcically unadventurous starting set-up.Peter Thompson wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 6:54 pmAnother attacking line up tonight again by Parkinson....could it be more defensive / negative ?
All I can say is thank God that Oztumer wasn't picked and asked to do a thankless task.
31% possession and not an effort at goal. I pity the poor buggers who've gone up there.

Yeah. But it’s hardly a new low. This time last season we were in the middle of our worst start ever.DJBlu wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 8:42 pmCan't get lower than zero. It was a statistical analysis. All 150 of the poor buggers!

Yes but in that worse start I believe we had shots on goal, in fact I think we started well in games but were too open in midfieldBWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 8:48 pmYeah. I'll speculate we make no immediate changes and carry on defending, hopin they don't score again, till the last twenty minutes. They then put everybody behind the ball and we lose 1-0. Please let me be wrong....Part Two starts with a free kick against Wilson. And....they intercept a good pass (that turned out not to be) and visit again. 69% them first half...31% us, 8 shots them, none to us. Corner them and......cleared, but back again and....Wilson part clears and Saville lashes one well wide.

It literally should be refund time for anyone that’s gone. All that be brave be strong bollocks. I defended the guy on Saturday but this is definitley a low point in his managerial career. What the feck is he thinking - not even changing it now we are one down? We will have to attack to get a point now numb nuts!!!

Well indeed. It’s absolutely miles better now. We are having a poor little run but injuries and other circumstances haven’t helped. You have ups and downs in seasons.twilight wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 8:51 pmYes but in that worse start I believe we had shots on goal, in fact I think we started well in games but were too open in midfieldBWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 8:48 pmYeah. Our fans seem to all have adhd. Judge things over seasons and years. Not knee jerk reactions every game.

Hey up, are we waking up. Lowe, Beevrers, Magennnis nods.....they clear...Williams comes and...he can't get away. Saville come forth and....it goes back wards after a poor attempt from them. Come on lads, get that equaliser first, then we'll see. Come on. Mention of Wildschutt and talk going on on the sidelines. Friend's cross cleared by Wheats for a throw. Another throw them and....Ostumer mentioned for a sub.....
