No Eddie to bail him out this time. God forbid there is anything further to come out about the loan he got from Eddie in his final days. Nothing would surprise me now.

I have supported this club since 1967 when I went to my first match, my son my grandson and granddaughter are season ticket holders, I could cry at the state we are in. I am not a violent man and this is not a threat but I would gladly punch Anderson's lights out. God how bad is that when normal bolton till I die fans feel this way. Anderson please read this and please just f off even it means administration as that in my opinion is the best option right now.
People haven't got a good word for you, but i have T**T.

I too am Bolton born and bred and have supported the Whites for seventy years. Time was when towns mattered and Bolton meant Bolton and district. Sadly, those days are long gone and business has ousted sport as the priority. Personal fortunes, it seems are of far more importance than clubs.

Like a few on here, I've followed us through all four divisions. I've witnessed the highs and the (very) lows. I've seen us lose 5-0 away at Carlisle on a Tuesday night and I've seen us knock Athletico Madrid out of the Europa Cup. But, never, in all those years, have I been as angry, disappointed and embarrassed as I am tonight. I'm now there with the Blackpool fans. Boycott home games; picket away games until the Andersons leave our club.

Public protests needed. We need to take our club back.

Final straw for me. I'd rather risk administration to get shot of the Andersons than for this to continue. I hope everyone boycotts and takes a stand against Ken. If nothing else it sends the message that we won't tolerate or condone what's happening.

This breaks my heart. No wonder we cant sell the club as absolutely no one wants to do business with this slime that we have as chairman/owner. Seems like administration is the only solution to get rid of him. He is a disgrace and is taking all of us and the clubs reputations down with him. Why is he doing this? whats in it for him

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )
So in September when Ken borrowed £5m from ED (RIP) and then didn't pay BM, and we were within minutes of going into admin, with KA not in the country, and PP running around putting last minute deals together, does anyone now think that that was suspicious?
Regardless, I knew then that he was a conman and everything that has happened since has been completely predictable. I hope there is another signatory required to get money from the clubs' accounts, because his history is plundering funds of businesses going into liquidation. This club will be lucky to survive, never mind admin.

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )
Heard about Doidge not being paid last week and I don't think he's the only one.
Don't be surprised if our other loanees are recalled.
Also - there is no credit lines and nothing in the bank. We've been begging small providers of goods and service to do so for free - with a promise of later payment. With what - is what they ask. The EFL payment has been "allocated" and it sounds like our only hope of continuing past January is selling a number of players. Alnwick, Beevers, Vela and Ameobi all could go.
As I said last week, this is the endgame. Sadly its going to be very painful - and whether we have a football club at the end of it is by no means certain.

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )
Doidge situation is a shambles and revealing of both current ownership practice and cashflow situation, but does it actually indicate exactly how close we are to the brink?
Presumably it's Ken's choice on whether we go into admin or not? When does choice become not a choice?
Best-case scenario from this point is that a buyer comes in. No change there of course - but it's more urgent. Think Kenneth gambled on getting his golden egg buyer by the end of 2018. Hasn't happened and now chickens are coming home to roost - we're potless and cannot reach the end of the season without major change. For a buyer to come in, tho, he'd has to stop making up stupid asking prices. What would it take for him to walk, tho? The insentive would presumably be that whatever he'd get from selling now will be more than if the club was in admin.
Or are we going to see yet more refinancing of the payday loans? Maybe Ken putting pressure on the Davies family to extend, threatening admin if they don't? But even if that was done and EFL installment covered some of the other stuff, we're still not making it to the end of the season without a buyer. If we went all-out fire sale this month, we're going to get derisory offers coming in given everyone knows what state we're in. Sammi... 500k? Vela (contract expiring in summer), Alnwick, Beevers, 2 or 300k each? Maybe a move for one or two of the summer's newcomers - Lowe, Olk, Oz? - given the low prices? But even scraping together a mil from transfer fees, and perhaps the same in wages to the end of the season, isn't going to do it.
Comes back to needing a new owner.
All comes back to Uncle Ken and what he's going to do next...

Someone has to pay for admin. I suspect a court will place us into admin when a bill isn't paid. Perhaps the hotel winding up order?palindromeofbolton wrote: ↑Mon Jan 07, 2019 10:15 amDoidge situation is a shambles and revealing of both current ownership practice and cashflow situation, but does it actually indicate exactly how close we are to the brink?

Good point on cost, tho I'm guessing costs are rolling, not an upfront fee?BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Mon Jan 07, 2019 10:18 amSomeone has to pay for admin. We've had so many winding up orders now I'm not sure even Ken knows what to pay, what not to pay, and what to throw more smoke at and hope it will go away.
Not much to take from this morning's club statement other than confirmation it's all true.
Bolton Wanderers Football Club is aware of the statement issued by Forest Green Rovers chairman Dale Vince.
We are disappointed to read the statement as the club has been in dialogue with Mr Vince and Forest Green Rovers over this situation.
We are hopeful that a satisfactory resolution will follow.

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )
For the record, the remaining loanees are Wildschut, Williams and Grounds. One might argue we wouldn't really miss the two older guys, and some would say Williams has blown hot and cold... but, and it's a large but... if, and it's an enormous if, we were to get through January losing only those players it would be preferable to the much larger problems that now sadly appear almost certain.
Unless, and it's a medium-sized unless, this f*cktastrophe shakes out a potential owner who agrees with those who say buying a club in admin is worse than buying one in evident debt.

Rolling until someone buys the business. At least 3 months will be required.palindromeofbolton wrote: ↑Mon Jan 07, 2019 10:38 amGood point on cost, tho I'm guessing costs are rolling, not an upfront fee?BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Mon Jan 07, 2019 10:18 amSomeone has to pay for admin. Ken won't fund it. I suspect a court will force us in - HMRC winding up petition on the hotel perhaps. And then we're in real trouble.
Real, genuine risk here that BWFC as we know it disappears. I'm not sure many fans have properly woken to this yet. It isn't just "admin, wipe debts, start again in league one."

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )
FGR chairman Dale Vince: "We don’t hold this against your club or fans, there’s one man to blame - your chairman. Hope Bolton's issues get sorted out soon. If our legal action helps with that then some good will have come from this." BWFC fans responding by politely asking if he fancies buying our club...
EDIT and the zingers continue from Vince: "Bolton saying they still think they can get a deal for Doidge reminds me of Theresa May saying she’ll still get a Brexit deal. It’s not going to happen."

Heard that Parky is "thinking about things" (I assume that means considering his position). Issue is his wider coaching team - who can't afford to be jobless and if they walk they know they won't find it easy getting what they are owed to date even out of the club.
Awful position to be in for them all.

Presumably he'd take most of them with him to his next job, although I completely understand that that's not paying their next mortgage instalment.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Mon Jan 07, 2019 12:10 pmHeard that Parky is "thinking about things" (I assume that means considering his position). Parky will now be making an actuarial decision: what are the odds of his managerial reputation being enhanced or diminished by staying on? If he leaves, there's a ready-made reason to explain it – and his next chairman may well concentrate on the 2017 promotion and 2018 survival rather than the apparently inevitable 2019 relegation.
He may also have a hope that Ken leaves and a new sugar daddy gives him spending power, but he's experienced enough to know that a new owner frequently wants a new manager.

Lennon went mutually when Ken turned up didn’t he. I have no idea what to think about Parky, it’s been utter dog shit this season but I think under some heavily mitigating circumstances! Plus it will be Jimmy P and David Lee and unlike the long brigade I’m realistic enough to know how that will end up.
