You might be right that the PBP and Bank thing might be the same number. They chunk it up as follows (bearing in mind it's a backwards look at nearly two years ago
Bank Loans & OD £12k
Finance Leases £10k
Other £22m
Trade Creditors £4.7m - that's fairly hefty
Taxation £1.4m
Deferred Income £3m
Other Creditors £2.1m
Accruals/Deferred Income - £5m
So if Bank/Prescot in my numbers above are the same thing, you'd be at around the £22m showing as "other"...In total we were at £38m of which £22m was secured (assuming there was no "secured" in any of the other categories)....
I realize I am oversimplifying slightly here, but would you say that the prices generally being quoted in this takeover (£25m - £30m), assuming they somewhat accurate, are likely indicative of the new owners inheriting the unsecured debt, or at least most of it, and paying off the secured debt?

If that's the "number" then yes. They know there's £12/13m of people they have to pay off to own the assets outright. £5m Ed loan just before he died. £5.5m PBP, £2.5m Brett Warburton. Then there's £10m to Fildraw which seems to be dependent on some criteria as yet unarticulated... This might be "real" or it might be "inconsequential".bristol_Wanderer3 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2019 4:01 pmThanks again.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2019 3:09 pm

The other elements are operational debt (rather than something they need to pay d1) - although some of it like HMRC is "overdue" as they're having another day out in Court with us, unless it's settled as part of the deal...
So it could be sold "debt free" by Ken, but he'd have to plough in North of £15-£25m to make it so and he'd want to charge at least that for the takeover,
or it'll be sold for much less (maybe just over £5m-£8m depending on who "owns" the Ed £5m debt, Anderson or the Davies family),
or it'll sell for less than £5m where all the debt is left in and Anderson just looks to cover his losses and make a bit too... (we don't know what "loans/monies" he's claiming to have put in plus his share purchase)
So no one outside the two parties will actually have any real clue around the "number" (including me, obvs)...

According to Mr Iles twittering the honourable Ken has paid the players wages , not sure what that actually indicates re the takeover though.

I'd just like to point out, in the interests of honesty, reality, schadenfreude, and research, that today's Times headline was "May claims victory in Brexit backstop talks".
Whoever you are, you'll see just what complete bullshit that is at seven p.m. tonight.
It has disturbing parallels with the journalistic, expert, in-depth, know-all bullshit surrounding Anderson And The Takeover.
Give It. A Rest. You aren't all Pullitzer prize winners. Try commentating on what happens, not on what hasn't occurred...

After a number of last minute hitches which caused some unforeseeable delays, I can confirm that all outstanding salaries for players and coaching staff have now been paid and we can all now put our energy and focus into supporting the players for tonight’s important match.
As I recently said, a great deal has and no doubt will continue to be written and said about my ownership and time at the club if the last few days are anything to go by.
As they say, ‘you are damned if you do and damned if you don’t.’
Hopefully, the takeover will be completed later this week and the new owners will be in place and will be given the time and opportunity to take the club forward, but if these are to be my final set of notes and comments then it would be remiss of me if I didn’t say a final few words about my time at the club and the people who have helped and assisted me throughout.
Today's piece is far better written than usual. Did you lend a hand?!

They do, but then so did the one last week.

I'm assuming that isn't the whole thing and he does go on to thank people .

"A little nugget has just appeared at Companies House - where two new directors have been appointed at Football Ventures (Whites) Ltd. Jeff Thomas and Michael James. Jeff Thomas's name has been in the press before - but Mike James, a lifelong fan and the person who bailed Wanderers out at the start of 2016, is a very interesting development."
Wonder if that means James gets on the panel in exchange for his debt?
