But can i be the first to thank him for not putting us in to administration?
Don't you realise he's the very embodiment of evil genius.
It was his secret plan all along to fxck us up. The bloke's from Wigan.

Depends who his backers are...ultimately he will have to be able to prove a certain amount of funding to the EFL. And explain its source.Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2019 4:07 pmBassini is, in my opinion, a bigger k**t than Ken. He also has less a pot to piss in than the current owners of a ramshackle chateaux in Iceland.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2019 3:52 pmKen is. He can be that and it can also be the case that finding buyers for a loss making football club is virtually impossible.Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2019 3:42 pmI'm actually more in tune with Ken than anybody.
I really believe there is nobody out there wanting to buy us.
I mean FFS, some cxnt with an address at a derelict farm are our saviours! Bassini, red hat himself, our saviour?
Nobody gives a fxck enough to divest themselves of millions on the chance they might, just possibly, become millionaires with an extra quid or two...
At least, so far, we are still trading, with a potential future.
I understand people think that Ken's a total K**t. I'm not yet konvinced.
Bassini is in - but whether he has genuine funds that can satisfy the league and he can prove those funds are above board - ????????????????????????

High praise. I'm supping tea from a Last Week Tonight mug and I've just had a Facebook prod about a Zaltzman show.

He. Not his backers. If his backers have money why are they 'backing' a k**t, and not Fronting a genuine bid?????????BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2019 4:19 pmDepends who his backers are...ultimately he will have to be able to prove a certain amount of funding to the EFL. Could it be that owning a League One team isn't viable? Shock Horror!

My guess, something to do with the 'basket case' state the club was left in by the previous owners, coupled with lack of potential regard size of fan base.Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2019 4:39 pmGo on. Somebody pleeeeeeease tell me why there are no frontmen out there wanting to buy us?

I'm not arguing with you. It doesn't seem very good. And I agree that nobody legitimate wants to own us - but then not many buyers for football clubs about these days.Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2019 4:38 pmHe. Not his backers. So - we're back to - the EFL will have to check he has a level of funds to support the club for a period of time and see the source of these funds. IF he can do that we will fight on for a while at least.

The market is saturated. No more room for wide boys. And only wide boys and tyre kickers are in business.
I mean, for Christ sake, the Supporters Trust had funds in place to buy us three years ago, supposedly...

PFA with EFL backing would be my guess.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2019 5:02 pmEmergency SAG meeting just started re Saturday's game. Hopefully folks get paid and game gets played. But from whose bank account?
No stewards or pie sellers. No police (except to police no fans). No ambulance, no anything.
Previous non payed concerns will get more non payment.
Everybody now knows that the EFL just want this ended after May.
Us and Coventry liquidated.
The small people in the way will be ignored. The small people in the way will continue to try and trade because they think a social contract is in place. They will be sorely disappointed. People quite often are, despite the likes of BWFCi who think we should live in a socialist utopia...

We sent one front man to Australia and didn't pay for another one.Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2019 4:39 pmGo on. Somebody pleeeeeeease tell me why there are no frontmen out there wanting to buy us?
You've mentioned Coventry a couple of times Spotty. I knew they were in trouble & unsure where they'd be playing next season. Has something else happened recently?
Oh and spare a thought for us season ticket holders not on the DD scheme. I paid for 46 matches (2x23) this season. Sounds like I may only be getting 40. I'm fuming!

Regards Coventry, nothing in the media. I just have this theory that the EFL want all the shit to occur in the summer. I have no evidence to back that up.Harry Genshaw wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2019 5:53 pmWe sent one front man to Australia and didn't pay for another one.Lost Leopard Spot wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2019 4:39 pmGo on. On your second, more pertinent and personal point, I can only say that if you bought your season ticket by credit card, you have a right to a refund via section 75.
It has nothing to do with Ken, just your credit card supplier...

Well I wouldn't quite celebrate yet. Have you ever tried to get a refund through section 75? It's like wading through treacle.

I'm quoting this as it sounds as though LLS is going mad. BUT I must be going mad as well as I'm agreeing with him.
