I'm going to wait for the team sheets before committing my hard-earned to the iFollow this week. If IE goes leftfield again and plays Comley up front or something then my tenner stays in my pocket.

Be interesting. He might pick the team that finished the game on the basis they had the balls to get back into it. Impossible to second guess, that selection on Tuesday was wild!

The thing is that we are in League Two, so anyone really can beat anyone. Cambridge have a striker who has better than a goal a game ratio this season, but who could barely get in the Tranmere side previously. This is a division where organisation and attitude really matter. Everything says we are going to get destroyed, but in League Two there's always a chance.
The big question going into this one, for me, isn't whether we will win....it's does Evatt survive a battering. If we lose 5-0 is he put out of his misery?

Hasn't he got a three year contract? Can't see him being sacked 8 games in. The management team binned off Hill after only a year; difficult to imagine them admitting they'd got it wrong again so soon after that.

Crellin
Kioso
Baptiste
Santos
Delaney
Mascoll
Sarceivic
White
Defouneso
Doyle
Crawford
I'll be delighted if I get 8. (Should say this is my guess on what he'll do rather than what I'd do )

Crellin, Brockbank, Santos, Delaney, Kioso, Sarc, Tutte, Mascoll, Gnahua, Doyle, Delf is what I would do.
Crellin, Kioso, Santos, Delaney, Gordon, Comley, Sarc, Crawford, Hickman, Doyle, Delf is what I reckon he will do.

Barring enforched changes, I've been thinking the same.

Well at last it would have a proper left wingback, although it's Gordon (for Brockbank). Would also mean dropping Crawford for Darcy.nicholaldo wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 1:35 pmofficer_dibble wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2020 2:35 pmHe might pick the team that finished the game on the basis they had the balls to get back into it.

I mean he *might* do any number of things. I'm not even certain he'll keep the back three. But as we're playing, I think he'll pick
Crellin, Brockbank, Santos, Delaney, Kioso, Tutte, Sarcevic, Gordon, Crawford, Delfouneso, Doyle
Personally I'd prefer Mascoll to Gordon but the rest is alright, as long as we invert the triangle in midfield and have Sarce/Crawford running forward in front of Tutte rather than Crawford ineffectually hovering.

TEAM NEWS
two changes - Fonz for Gnahoua and Tutte for Comley
Presumably the Brockbank LWB experiment was deemed to have worked, as was playing Baptiste

I've just realised it was the team that ended the match rather than started it. To clarify, I meant I think he might go for an unchanged team, again on the basis that they dug out a result (forgetting the fact the we ended up in such a mess early on in large part because of the changes to the back line).
Although I've previously argued for a back four, I find myself more willing now to stick with the back three. I think a lot of that has to do with the signing of Kioso.

I am now seriously considering not buying this.

This is an interesting question to fill the next 45 minutes. I think we might all have different answers.
Up to me, I'd go 3-1-4-2
Crellin; Brockbank, Santos, Delaney; Tutte; Kioso, Sarcevic, Crawford, Mascoll; Fonz, Doyle
