Re: Where are you going tonight?
Was both bemused and amused at 6:57 this morning to receive a phone call from the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament telling me they'd found Bruce Riojas's phone in a field at The Green Man festival. Happily he has it back now.

Was taken out by daughter and boyfriend (hers not mine) on Saturday as a late secret birthday present. I half hoped tickets for Oxford /Bolton...but no. Anyhow, had an enjoyable escape room thingy in Manchester. Good laugh!

Knowing the pair of them, I pity anyone having to make such a phone call. ‘Hello. Could I speak to erm……Knobhead, please?’Gooner Girl wrote: ↑Mon Aug 23, 2021 10:11 amWild night Bruce?! Are you registered on it as his carer or something LE?!

They teletexted William the White first, to which he characteristically messaged back, "Would you mind calling later please?"Burnden Paddock wrote: ↑Mon Aug 23, 2021 3:29 pmKnowing the pair of them, I pity anyone having to make such a phone call. ‘Hello. I just assumed you'd been on it all night and were ringing to tell me.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Mon Aug 23, 2021 6:35 pmThey teletexted William the White first, to which he characteristically messaged back, "Would you mind calling later please?"Burnden Paddock wrote: ↑Mon Aug 23, 2021 3:29 pmKnowing the pair of them, I pity anyone having to make such a phone call. ‘Hello. First stand-up gig since Covid tonight. Ivo Graham at DLT. A very funny, highly amusing young fella who I look forward to seeing again sometime.

Tonight I’m going out. But a new pair of pjs have arrived today and I really want to be an old woman for the night and get in them at 7pm! The struggle is real.

I'm going to the wine cellar to find a really nice red to go with steak and chips.

In Brighton this weekend for some RnR. Currently on a bus to Seaford for an afternoon of walking the coast and looking generally windswept and interesting.
The sunset yesterday evening was quite something.

Welcome to Sussex! We have friends in Seaford, It’s lovely and quiet there. Where are you walking? Seven sisters? Cuckmere Haven?KeyserSoze wrote: ↑Sat Jan 29, 2022 11:57 amIn Brighton this weekend for some RnR. Re: Where are you going tonight?
Thanks GG! It is a beautiful part of the world. I did a rather short walk called Slater's Walk I think? up from the barn then east toward seven sisters, but turning back along the coast before getting to cuckmere haven. Then following the coastline back to Seaford across the head.Gooner Girl wrote: ↑Sat Jan 29, 2022 4:16 pmWelcome to Sussex! We have friends in Seaford, It’s lovely and quiet there. This is as far east as I got on the walk, but afforded a lovely view of the Sisters

Recognise that view! Glad you are enjoying Sussex! If you go the other direction along the coast from Brighton I can recommend ‘The Perch’ at Lancing as a good place to eat with a view. It’s right on the beach.

In the interests of Viz humour and paying homage to HMHB I'll make sure my next countryside visit will be to Wales in order to sit atop Lord Hereford's knob.
