Cheers, Boris. I always say I'm going to do this..... maybe this time I will.boltonboris wrote: ↑Tue May 10, 2022 1:27 pm
I saw us at 14/1 to go up as Champs next season, so probably about 8-9/1 for Top 2 placement
Ipswich, Derby, Sunderland & Wednesday are the only teams with shorter odds
I guess we'll see how the summer pans out, but right now I'm only worried about Derby out of the clubs you mention.
If you add their 21 points back on they were a half decent Championship side.
May the bridges I burn light your way
Re: Where will we finish?
Not sure how Sunderland can be shorter odds . Unless you're getting two shots at it!

I don't know the ins and outs but they might get shafted with talent deserting the potentially sinking ship. Still no takeover announced. Or might get a big influx of cash from a new owner. Imagine the squad will change a fair bit though and possibly the manager.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Tue May 10, 2022 5:59 pmCheers, Boris. Speaking of Rooney, anyone up for a Wagatha Christie thread? There was some racy stuff about Peter Andre's todge in court today. Beats Nixon on Twitter.

What a couple of dreadful attention whores.
They've both been advised by legal counsel to keep it out of court on the grounds that any settlement will in no way cover their expenses, yet here we are.....
I suppose 'exclusive newspaper rights' will need factoring in also.

Couldn’t agree more. A shameful indictment of the shallow and celebrity obsessed society we’ve become. They will make their money through it but it won’t advance or improve anything.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 8:59 amWhat a couple of dreadful attention whores.

So might I, though I'm still hurting about not lumping on at ridiculous odds after Gnahoua's heroics away at Mansfield the season before last.
I know quite a few people who did very well out of our promotion that year.

Re: Where will we finish?
See, the last time I had a bet on the footy I did this accumulator business. Anyway, my last game on the list was Ajax against someone like ADO Den Haag. So, Ajax are winning 3-0 at half time, there's me dancing round the living room, Patek Philippe catalogue in hand - only ended up 3-3 didn't it!nicholaldo wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 1:30 pm

I treat gambling as an emotional hedge, e.g. currently got money on Liverpool to win the league, bet against us quite often.

Johnny and Amber has been the funniest broadcasting I've seen in ages!
Re: Where will we finish?
I particularly chuckled at the #mepoo hashtag after he accused her of curling one out in his bed and blaming it on the Yorkshire terrierWorthy4England wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 2:57 pmJohnny and Amber has been the funniest broadcasting I've seen in ages!
