Think not playing MJ is an error given no Santos. All over the shop at the back then

No Santos, no Charles.
Who's at fault for that?

We really know how to dishearten a man. Went to te toilet, came back 1 down.

Santos on holiday or something? Notable absence there and nothing stated in the match preview.
Not exactly the best start by Eoin Toal whose on his league debut.

Was getting that impression too. We're gonna concede a fair few if we don't wake up. We've seemingly got 5 players back in defence and penned back in our own half letting balls get whipped in.

Beck at LWB might be seeing an early sub unless he drastically improves.

Defence is absolutely all over the shop. Get MJ on!

This defending is abysmal. Could be 3 down.

Cheers guys for the Santos nod.
Kachunga looked offside and then hit it way too high for us to score there. Keeper saving that's done us a favour.

If he was even remotely a footballer he'd have spied the easy ball to Afolayan, stood in a fecking hectare of space, for the almost open goal.

He can't win either way. He's often criticised for taking a pass rather than having a shot and in this case shooting too high instead of passing.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Fri Dec 02, 2022 8:02 pmIf he was even remotely a footballer he'd have spied the easy ball to Afolayan, stood in a fecking hectare of space, for the almost open goal.
Maybe it's just bad decision making all round.
Personally i'd rather his first instinct be a shot there. Composure definitely a problem as its not neatly passed into the sides of the goal but moreover just a hit and hope and try and beat him with power. Sturridge had that mindset in abundance and often missed a right decision in the pass but he clearly had the finishing prowess from constant shooting.

Think we should re-name ourselves The Mountaineers.

We’re winning nothing in our own box. Matter of time

Yep, I guess that ultimately, we sometimes need to remember that these are chiefly third division players for a reason.Mar wrote: ↑Fri Dec 02, 2022 8:05 pm
