TBF mate, he's not in an exclusive club there. I reckon you've had pretty much every player currently on the pitch as not good enough at some point...

Indeed. I'm sure some of our members who couldn't stop posting when we were losing will be along shortly with praise.

Cracking result. Could have been out of it first twenty but fought back well. Thankfully Wednesday ran out of steam. But can’t complain as it’s a real bonus point.

Well done Whites. Very few thought we'd get anything from Wednesday away. A great point.

The Wed commentator said and I quote
"Bolton one of the bravest teams to come here, had a real go"
I agree.

I couldn't tell from the grainy iFollow but it's one of those that is either a pen or a dive. That pace and momentum either there's contact and a foul and there's not. My best reckon from the crappy replays was he bundled into him body wise rather than the leg, in which case it's still a pen. Gave Dion feck all all game the useless cnut.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 9:26 pmMaybe. Looked at it twice now. Still not sure. Maybe I’m missing something but it’s not the stonewaller commentary are making it out to be. Not sure his foot makes contact but need the other angle. Looked to me like Charles was expecting it and went down.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 9:25 pmOr bundles into him while holding his armBWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 9:23 pmI’m not convinced that was a penalty. To me Flint pulls out the challenge.

Yeah - overall, we were worth a point, I think. Not sure we could really make a claim to "should've won" but certainly "could've won" if we'd been awarded that penalty.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 9:46 pmIndeed. Wanted to see a pick-up in our gameplay from the last couple of weeks, and overall, think we got that, albeit, Wycombe could now overtake us with two wins....

Great point - better team 2nd half IMO, we are much better when we give them something to think about.

Great point, they can say they continued their run we can say we stopped the rot.
I expect Ian Evatt will say something about the penalty. We scored our only shot on target. Fine margins. The fact we didn't collapse was great as these results can be turning points in seasons.

Don't think it was a pen tbh, he lost his footing and actually complained / appealed very little.

Really pleased with that. Maybe pen aside, not sure we created enough to say we deserved to win, but showed great character after going behind and being outplayed for 20 mins to win the fight and impose ourselves and were certainly the better side from there.
They're going to win, the league and comfortably. That's essentially the toughest single game and we played really well. Feared a drubbing and after the past few weeks that will feel like a win and set us up nicely for Wembley.
Then got a big 8 games where we'll be the favourite in each game. That could be a big point, or a big confidence boost. COYWM.

Some on here may criticise Santos but again the Wed commentators were full of praise for him in Central defence. What's the opposite of rose tinted specs ?
