Let's wait until we hear from Ian Evatt at full time before we get on ebay.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 8:10 pmInjured is what I think. And Barnsley will be a test with such a fragile and small back three. Ultimately I think it is clear we need a centre half signing and luckily there is still time.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 8:09 pmHmmm yeah- he looked OK? But I thought he was carrying an injury last couple of weeks anyway. Hopefully ok for Saturday… gulp

Honestly I am watching Morley and thinking why on earth did we offer him any sort of deal?
Re: Seconds out, Round Four. V Blackpool away Tues, 30th Jan. 7-0'clock.
Would quite fancy some subs to come on here. Morley's looking second best in this match, so perhaps the introduction of Dempsey may see us get an advantage here.
Additionally, I think the duo of Jerome and Bod has gone a bit flat, so bringing on Charles would certainly seem desirable.
Oddly enough, we play Charles and Vic to tire the opposition out, we've not had that today, so perhaps it'll be a tougher ask for any fresh sub coming on.

Getting overrun here as the back three having to drop deeper without Santos.

CMG at wing back then… bold!

IIRC he's done this a few times. I've got him down as covering RWB which I thought was surprising, perhaps its the speed he's got.
CMG just caught a sore one there in the balls.

He’s a grafter is Carlos. Unpredictable but he hasn’t stopped running.

My feeling he's looking very active, very quick and surprisingly ineffectual.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 8:25 pmHe’s a grafter is Carlos. Unpredictable but he hasn’t stopped running.
Connolly with a dangerous slide in towards Coleman's face. Could've ended a lot worse that.
Time for some subs up top. We're not able to get out of our own half despite having two big guys up there.

Seriously JDC is no more a centre half for a league one side than I am.

COYWM. Get control of it again.
Two subs left. Front two, I’d imagine.

Refs not for giving us anything in their half. Plenty of pushes and arms raised this match but nothing given.
Feels like we've been carrying Morley and Thomason in this game. Thomason's seems very much grip on the pitch. Change of studs required?

Hmm he’s got bits to learn, especially out of possession, for sure. But I don’t think he’s looked awful.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 8:28 pmSeriously JDC is no more a centre half for a league one side than I am.

That front three of theirs is pretty dangerous now - Hamilton always impresses me, and dembele has been the best player on the pitch.

He’s a good player. He’s just not a centre half!Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 8:32 pmHmm he’s got bits to learn, especially out of possession, for sure. You mean... Insane's resorted to ludicrous hyperbole?? Dion on for Jerome. We can still bring on one more as Santos went off at HT so that doesn’t count as a “substitution event”.

Referee is a joke.

I love Bod but he’s looking old.
