No score updates from me tonight - the only two other games tonight at Cheltenham-Charlton and Posh-Northampton, neither of which matters much to us right now.
Come on you beautiful bastards, do us proud.

Presumably the relevance of Posh depends on where this match leaves us. Win and they're not too relevant, lose and they become a consideration for the playoffs.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2024 7:47 pmNo score updates from me tonight - the only two other games tonight at Cheltenham-Charlton and Posh-Northampton, neither of which matters much to us right now.

Interesting we've only gone for one change tonight. Settled squad an all.

Really not keen on Barnsley. Don’t know why. They’ve started the game agriculturally let’s say.

If the last few games are anything to go off i'd say its their ability to leave the boot in on tackles.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2024 7:50 pmReally not keen on Barnsley. Don’t know why. They’ve started the game agriculturally let’s say.

It's probably one of the things we're missing from our game. Just something to disrupt the opposition that has a lasting impact, slight little ankle knocks early on have a tendency to get worse as the game goes on.

I’m watching Sheehan tonight as for me these are the games where he struggles.Mar wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2024 7:53 pmBWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2024 7:51 pmAlready done that on Collins.Mar wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2024 7:51 pmIf the last few games are anything to go off i'd say its their ability to leave the boot in on tackles.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2024 7:50 pmReally not keen on Barnsley. Some positive signs early on from the team looking somewhat relaxed in the opposition half with the passing. Bodes well, but that could easily change if we concede and lose our heads.

Barnsley Santos doesn't look too clever.

Hah, so Connell gets the soft foul from Thommo but it isn’t the other way around. Gonna be a good battle between those two.

I’d like us to be braver on the ball. Feels like we are going long too early and not to much effect.

Might be tactical as their gameplan at ours was largely about pressing high.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2024 7:58 pmI’d like us to be braver on the ball. Feels like we are going long too early and not to much effect.

Fair few of them. Connell one unfortunately. Partly because I wish we still had him.

Ridiculous decision from the referee to book Thomason.
Re: Raising the Bar: Barnsley (A), Tue 5 Mar 7.45pm
Thomason now two bookings off an additional three game ban. Good god, he needs to grow up.
Re: Raising the Bar: Barnsley (A), Tue 5 Mar 7.45pm
I don’t like this ref and Thommo thing developing
Re: Raising the Bar: Barnsley (A), Tue 5 Mar 7.45pm
Ref booking Thomason with an early yellow pretty much helps Barnsley's cause quite a lot.
FFS ref have a word with their player who pushed two hands into Thomason's back, instead he's having a word with Thomason.
Re: Raising the Bar: Barnsley (A), Tue 5 Mar 7.45pm
Every fecking week these refs.
