This place in Chorlton Cum Hardy called the Turkish Delight, Large Lamb Kofte Kebab, onions, bit of cabbage, bit of tomatoes and cucumber diced together and lettuce with their own special tomato based fondue all wrapped in a nice Yufka (turkish naan bread - similar to a chapati but less tough).
It's a bloody great resturant too but for take-aways it's immense.
Beyond that i do like a nice fallafel kebab from Safads in the gay village or a decent Subway (when i used to get loads of the tokens off the lovely staff in the one near the Academy....), not had one since they took away the token scheme, too much abuse......probably.
The Subway of choice was always the veggie patty.
In Salem in Boston there was this place called the Boston Hotdog Company. Best Fast Food Outlet Ever. Can't wait to go back.

That's scary - swap the Chinese for Fajitas and I would agree word for word!perfan wrote:I like Chinese - crispy beef with Cantonese sauce and boiled rice. Or Indian - chicken tikka korai with mushroom pilau rice. Or Pizza Hut pizza - vegetarian even though I'm not. KFC - fillet burger or a bucket and I love their gravy and coleslaw. Fish and chips with loads of vinegar, no salt. Donner kebab with salad, no tomato, but plenty of garlic mayo and tomato sauce. Or a Burger King double whopper meal.
So yeah I just love fast food!!
I do love fajitas too, funnily enough. Oh and nachos.Idiot Wind wrote:That's scary - swap the Chinese for Fajitas and I would agree word for word!perfan wrote:I like Chinese - crispy beef with Cantonese sauce and boiled rice.
