Must have been before my time. My formative drinking days were spent in The Pink panther opposite Ritzy.

Used to be a bikers and skinhead place there once upon a time. It was a club and open at night, but that's the nearest it came to nightclub. "Rough" doesn't describe adequately.Bruce Rioja wrote:Does anyone else on here remember a basement nightclub on Mawdsley St called Sundowners?Annoyed Grunt wrote:You know you wouldBruce Rioja wrote:Here we see an average Canadian being interviewed.

It is possible Toronto has changed since the last time I was there. I guess we don't concentrate on her face after a while. Good God!Bruce Rioja wrote:Here we see an average Canadian being interviewed.

Re: SKD off to Canada...
Reports are that we are paying half KD's wages at Toronto and the deal will be done this week. I'm assuming we pay half until KD's contract here would have run out. More than fair of the club, though no doubt Emma will have summat to feel hard done by and whinge about it...
Re: SKD off to Canada...
well done club for at least offloading HALF of KD's wages for a few weeks! (when DOES his contract run out?)

Sounds like it's pretty much done. And assuming we're paying half his wages to subsidise the move, that can only be seen as respectful and decent surely?
Don't suspect his wife will spin it that way though. Hope it isn't anybody's birthday when it finally gets officially announced.......

Might ruin their holiday or summat. Anyway, she should be too busy sorting schools and houses to worry about bitching surely?BWFC_Insane wrote:http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/wa ... s/10374206._/

She won't.

Re: SKD off to Canada...
I think it's a shame that it looks to be ending sourly; I guess ego has had it's say and as is often the case will be walking away bruised.
Personally I'm much happier thinking of the possibilities ahead than I would have been had Bolton tried to wring one more year out of a tired old warhorse.
I do like the look of those Canadian girls though, can't think why Brian Wilson didn't mention them.

Well, maybe i'll get to see him play in Boston. But many thanks to a big part of our club. Hopefully the end won't sour what has been a great decade.
It always ends badly, otherwise it wouldn't end.

Oh I don't know. SKD leading the lads up the Wembley steps? Works for me, Chief.BWFC_Insane wrote:http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/wa ... s/10376522._/

It's a distraction though that the club clearly don't need at this moment in time. Can't see him being involved again now. Would have been better for all concerned if he'd moved on.Bruce Rioja wrote:Oh I don't know. SKD leading the lads up the Wembley steps?
