My mate was saying at the Cardiff game that he has created more chances than anyone else in the division. I haven't verified this stat though.BWFC_Insane wrote:I'd love to know what we are paying him. I struggle to think of a goal he's created or scored this season. Chungy can do one. Total waste of space.

It's not my fault if some of you Alanises are to thick to know what irony is .
I'd be devo-ed if Mavies went. Sad, wistful but understanding if Chungy did.

In itself ironic.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Too late one often thinks of what one should have said....
Don't be so self depreciating.
Ah well, the irony isn't lost on me.

A thicko points out that it's 'too thick' and detects the irony in pointing this out.Prufrock wrote:It's not my fault if some of you Alanises are to thick to know what irony is .

I think you'll find the plural of Alanis is Alanii.Prufrock wrote:It's not my fault if some of you Alanises are to thick to know what irony is .

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

There is a Latin student inside me (fnarr) fighting to point out that even if Alanis were Latinate, in still wouldn't be Alanii.
But I won't let him. Nope. Not pointing that out . That would involve being pedantic about a joke, and I shan't.

Just clocked this on the bbc deadline day feed:
Ever wondered how these last-minute transfer deals work?
Wonder no more, as former Burnley, Bolton and Wigan manager Owen Coyle gives his step-by-step guide to signing a player, from scouting them and approaching a club to the medical and finalising a contract.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25973022" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Can't listen as at work but I wonder if he refers to the Sordell deal here?
