Fat Footballers
Paddy Kenny, never a stick insect, like, has turned up for pre-season having clearly enjoyed the summer break.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Puskas was 18kg overweight when he joined Real Madrid, apparently. If it's good enough for Puskas it's good enough for me! Where's them pies?
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

Apparently he's been binned by Leeds but it's nothing to do with his spare tyres, rather the date of his birthday...

“To say this is strange is an understatement, but once he discovered the player's birthday fell on the 17th of a month then he didn't want him to be picked”

Re: Fat Footballers
That club is going to be a circus this year.
Mind you .... Paddy Kenny being on £10,000pw suggests it already has been. Not helped himself over the summer by the looks of it, either

Once a fat(ish) footballer, and a brilliant one at that. Now, sadly, reduced to this.

Re: Fat Footballers
Has he had a face lift ?
It's all a terrible shame, but it's been a terrible shame for years and years. This eek he's not been able to fund his rent on his £3m penthouse on Sandbanks. If he'd rented a small decent flat somewhere else it may not have been so unaffordable. Yesterday he got lifted while slumped in the garden of that place, unable to get in, clutching an empty gin bottle.
I'm sorry for him, but a lot sorrier for thousands and thousands who've had far less opportunity and had less people helping them out for a very long time.

Re: Fat Footballers
Jesus he looks awful. Sad, and I hope he can get some help, but it doesn't look good given his history.
