Well, we'll have to agree to disagree because I can't see a foul in there at all. Both their lad and the ref should be ashamed of themselves for me.DJBlu wrote:Lad was goal side and brought down, free kick any day of the week.Bruce Rioja wrote:Really? I'd say that it was an appalling decision by the Ref coupled with an excellent free kick.jetsetwilly wrote:Spearing has to go. Free kick was excellent.

I thought it a very good free kick.
I also thought it a silly challenge that was always going to result in a foul being given.

Who was saying their keeper should have gone?!

It wasn't worth a red card as the ball was going away from goal and the keeper didn't deny a goal scoring opportunity. We've all seen them given though.
Spearing defo put a challenge in fir the free kick that led to their goal. Bit silly as the lad was running into our centre backs and Spearing didn't need to take one for the team, as he probably saw it.

May have been a bit overenthusiastic after his recent omissions.Bijou Bob wrote:It wasn't worth a red card as the ball was going away from goal and the keeper didn't deny a goal scoring opportunity. We've all seen them given though.

Clumsy from Spearing and you can see why it was given.
Clumsier from Dervite. That is not even Sunday-League standard chest control. Small margins.
