i don't really give much of a stuff who wins now we're out of it - as long as it's not the welsh...jaffka wrote:Tonight I wanted the welsh to win, purely because they were up against Southern Hemisphere opposition. Bish I don't understand your thinking here, did you really want the wallabies to win?

Re: Rugby World Cup 2015
I could just about live with Ireland winning it. At a push, Scotland. Never, ever, the French and under no circumstances the Welsh.
Re: Rugby World Cup 2015
Quarter finals weekend.
Saturday:
South Africa v Wales
New Zealand v France
Sunday:
Ireland v Argentina
Australia v Scotland
Turned down tickets and overnight accommodation for the sunday game at Twickenham.
I can only see Ireland going through out of the NH teams and that isn't an easy match against a very capable and physical Argentina.
Wales are like rabbits in the headlights when they play the big 3 SH teams.
Scotland have got to their world cup final.
Cannot see the AB's being taken by surprise by this uninspiring French side, although by picking Parra they are going for it.

See I'm different to this.
This isn't six nations time, its the world cup.
The biggest cock measurers are the SH team fans, some of whom have massive chips on their shoulders.
Yeah its been shit for us but I would sooner a team that we regularly test ourselves wins it and ends this SH dominance.

Re: Rugby World Cup 2015

each to their own...
each to their own...
Re: Rugby World Cup 2015
don't mind proper fans of any team... i meet wayyyyyy more welsh dickheads than Southern Hemisphere ones - so i'd be quite happy for them NOT to have summat to dickheadishly crow about!jaffka wrote:^^depends if you are interested in the views of the proper fans or the dickheads who will take the piss whatever the event is

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Caught the last 20 mins of the match, Wales tackle count was 100 more than the boks.
They are still like rabbits in the big 3 SH headlights.

Re: Rugby World Cup 2015
wales game - these stats tell a story - largely about how dominant SA were - and what a HUGE defensive effort it was for wales...
tackles made - and metres made - both massively stacked against wales... they did well to keep the winning margin down to four...
