Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.

We don’t need to sell on the cheap now? So a million quid might get us talking?

At least there were some good opposition players last year. This year we are just losing to some right shite every week!

Re: Faal Mental Jackett - Pompey (H), 3:00pm, 18/01/2020

Yep - I suppose we should be hopeful we follow suit in, say, 5 years time? Theirs is the path we are on, assuming we end up no lower than league two.

Re: Faal Mental Jackett - Pompey (H), 3:00pm, 18/01/2020

For me we should be aiming to finish above Southend. Anything less and this seasons a failure. I think in doing that well have salvaged some pride from the latter stages of a season that started bizarrely and has gone to rat shit since just before Christmas.

Re: Faal Mental Jackett - Pompey (H), 3:00pm, 18/01/2020

Well for the last decade football has been shite
And it’s not getting any better this one, any time soon. Enough nails in the coffin now - as said above, it’s exactly the kind of game you lose when going down. Who knows where it will end.

Re: Faal Mental Jackett - Pompey (H), 3:00pm, 18/01/2020

Errrrm
Draw? I have no idea. I sort of expect a bumming but this league really isn’t that good, and I’m hoping for a reaction. Lowe/Murphy/Hamilton midfield is OK...Murphy Politic and Dodoo up top...Hull lad, Emanuel, Edwards and Toto? Another new back four!

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.

Well, we’ve signed one now.
Shame he wasn’t here before Chicksen left. Tossed away goal difference at least on Tuesday when we snatched another embarrassing hammering from the jaws of defeat.

Re: Trotting over the Yellowbellies to three points - Lincoln City (A) 14/01/20

Was there ever any explanation as to why Bunney was on the M61 at 4 on a Sunday morning? All rather quiet that one! He’s certainly not helped out Keith there, I keep forgetting he exists.

Re: Trotting over the Yellowbellies to three points - Lincoln City (A) 14/01/20

'Hill freely accepts he needs to acquire a specialist left-back, having filled the position with three different players during 90 minutes' “It’s a horrendous situation to be in, difficult for me as a manager" There is a lad called Chicksen kicking about on a free. Been playing regularly for...

Re: Trotting over the Yellowbellies to three points - Lincoln City (A) 14/01/20

Hill got dogs abuse last night on Twitter - so many onion based mock ups.

Unfortunately he isn’t particularly likeable and I think the mood is turning.

Re: Trotting over the Yellowbellies to three points - Lincoln City (A) 14/01/20

What bothers me is next season. I know this season was a write off before a ball was kicked but, I expected the players Hill assembled to be more competitive than what we have witnessed. This squad of players are not good enough for this league and this is why I'm concerned for next term. Will the ...

Re: Trotting over the Yellowbellies to three points - Lincoln City (A) 14/01/20

Good point re backroom staff - have we not replaced those who left? Pollit came in - presumably nobody born in Bolton applied for the other job?

I know it’s a tough job - this year was a free hit almost - but there are some massive alarm bells ringing for me, and they are not going away...

Re: Trotting over the Yellowbellies to three points - Lincoln City (A) 14/01/20

We’re actually gettting a lot closer to Southend - only 4 (or one game for Keith) goals off their GD.

Shambolic.

2-1 with 5 mins to go; can Hill really be blamed for the collapse that followed?

Re: Trotting over the Yellowbellies to three points - Lincoln City (A) 14/01/20

If he takes training like he does interviews it’s no wonder we look absolutely clueless - there’s young players whose careers he is at risk of ruining - Zouma et al. If the ten year plan has resulted in this months transfer business then he really needs to fecking say so like Bruce said. I think it’...
