Reasons to be cheerful. At home to Cambridge Sat 18th Jan 3'clock.

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

He's took Santos off?

Wow. Maybe they're both getting sacked.

A few are saying that Evatt sneaked down the tunnel just before the HT whistle and got some boos from a section of the fans & then mouthed 'fcuk off' to them - not a good look.
You can see it - he can do pretty much anything and Sharon won’t do owt. What we need is pressure from the normal board members not the fecking religious freaks.

I've missed most of it thankfully. I did notice a flat back 5 at one point marking 1 bloke

Definitely heard some boos when their keeper had the ball with 30s left. Can’t say anything about the second bit.

That's Kachunga's 12th goal in a Cambridge shirt.
He only managed to get 8 goals under Evatt in 2 seasons with 6 of them coming in the cups. This was in a team that was scoring a record number of goals.

For Kachunga that's 11 league goals in 2 seasons for Cambridge.

Maybe that should be indication of Evatt not getting the best use of the players at his disposal.

Santos might be next player out the door with any luck. Can’t stand players who don’t put the effort in.

And replaced him “like-for-like” with Forrester, who can’t pass wind. EDIT as he inably demonstrates as I post this.

You don’t come back from that kind of thing.

To be fair, assuming it is true, it'd depend on what was said to him.

it does and it doesn’t.

Managers and players are expected to take far more flak than they give. That’s unfair in some ways but then again they are the professionals paid to represent the club.

A club which is making a big play of being “decent” and doing things respectfully.

If we were 10pts clear it wouldn’t be as badly received.

But we’re not, are we?

Managers really need to be able to rise above that, even if I agree that plenty of abuse from the stands goes well beyond the acceptable.

My point was really that his relationship with the fans now seems beyond repair.

It's like people are getting caught up on he said she said rather than the football.

Probably more due to the football being sub par.

He's always been the thinnest of thin skinned managers.

Boos after that corner ends up with Southwood. Cheers as JDC is subbed for JOT.
