Re: Is Salford City an away fixture? Sat Feb 6th 3-0'clock

Game rearranged for Tue 13 Apr, making three successive three-game weeks (Easter Monday is 5 Apr). I suppose theoretically there's also the chance fans will be back in by that time, but I wouldn't hang a hat on it. (Home only too, presumably, but that might not deter some...) The govt is telling me...

Re: Half season predictions

Whoever goes down from D2 this season gets to play the two teams promoted from the National League North next year. Currently, well known northerners Gloucester top that league.

Evatt is Streaky McStreak Face. We won just one of our opening eight league games, then won five in eight and, prior to Saturday, it was another one win in eight. So, the win against Orient signals the start of the next winning streak. 2-1 to us. I'm following the science. :P

Mansfield game has been quickly rearranged for next Tuesday. Quite the three-game week now as it fits between Orient and Salford. Furthermore, tomorrow we start a run of 12 games in 43 days – we've only got one midweek off in the next six weeks. Lots of huffing, puffing and 'we go again' clichés th...

Re: Is football not a man's field? Away @ the Stags 26th Jan 2021

I see this point made quite regularly, and I genuinely can't decide whether Evatt would be better or worse off with fans in the ground. Obviously if results were as they are then it would be worse for him, but is it not possible that we would have performed better at home with the backing of (relat...

29 months (of the 36) to go until Evatt's contract expires. I can't see him getting the boot before the half way mark: ie December.

According to BBC Gossip Wolves are interested in Bolton's 17yr old Finlay Lockett. Anyone know anything about him? :conf:
Yes, we know he's worth about £6m. :-)

Indeed. You've got to pick a lockett or two.

This is the one, Cheltenham are out of form - not won in 5 apparently ? (yes, I know that we are normally the gift that keeps giving etc.) but tomorrow is the day it all clicks, 2 x more new signings, including a Craig Dawson type new CB (wishful thinking) 4-1 Bolton. That's the spirit Bertie Oh fo...

Who’s Declan? Who’s John? One's Elvis Costello and the other's Reg Dwight. Who the feck's Lee? 🙂 Alvin? Arthur? Geddy? Peggy? Mavers? Scratch Perry? Jeans? Also important not to mix up Kieran Lee, formerly of Sheffield Wednesday, with Keiran Lee, the somewhat unimaginative stage name of an adult mo...

One of the ‘in the know’ types on Twitter (@bwfc12341) has claimed that White has been sent back to Blackburn and Lee is back at the stadium. Positive developments if true.

The twittersphere reckons Crellin has gone too.

Not a disaster this IMO, much rather play them when its re arranged when we hopefully have 3 or 4 new / better players in. Forfeit the game give us the 3 points, Isn't that what was requested against us? Or make them play their u-18s, which is what was required of us. I assume they are in a separat...
