Re: Pointing the way. Stevenage at home Sat, 3rd May 3-0'clock

It’s a results business for sure. If Schumacher has the ability to build a side and spend several millions of pounds on new players then you’d best believe that he will need to deliver the goods next season with a strong start, strong middle and a finish with a P next to our name. However with wher...

Re: Pointing the way. Stevenage at home Sat, 3rd May 3-0'clock

Collins POTY Numbers game victory for Collins. 24 goal involvements in 55 games. Beats Dion Charles' 22 in 44 from the season prior and 23 in 52 the season before that. Difference being that Collins' record doesn't surpass Charles' record in the league (12 goals for Collins, Charles had 16 and 14)....

Players can't drink at the EOSA. The club staff are making up for it though.

Official attendance of 20,613
That must be all tickets sold. I had 2 x complimentary tickets, for instance, and I'm not there.

Donny, Vale and (pending late equaliser when the pitch us cleared) Bradford coming up - decent away days* for the fans

*in shitholes
And potentially decent away followings coming here. We keep 95% of the revenue.

Cardiff might bring a few; Luton or Plymouth probably not.

Forino might be on his way according to talk in the ground. We will see.

Guess it’s natural for these rumours following non inclusion - which may well be nonsense.
Sounds like nonsense to me.

He's one I'd keep but his injury record means that we're not exactly likely to get a huge bid.

He is paid a lot more than me though.

At least the weather will be nice. Enjoy a few beers (if you partake) in the sun.

Awards that night will be interesting, I'll report back.

Re: To be or not to Be? . ..Away to Peterborough, Sat 26th Apr. 3-0'clock.

I get your point about saving football, but in terms of who I'd rather face next season, it's Charlton not Wrexham. Wrexham would bring more away fans, and it'd probably be on TV again. True. But which side is likelier to keep us out of the top two? I'd say both are part of a group of 7-8 (us inclu...

Re: To be or not to Be? . ..Away to Peterborough, Sat 26th Apr. 3-0'clock.

Elsewhere, Stockport County are fecking up their chances of auto promotion. Over to Charlton to save football later. They were never getting automatics. Too big a gap to catch up on. Wrexham will do it today. Matete puts the ball in the back of the net, foul by McAtee stopped it. Didn't see much in...

Forino, man. I think with the right service (and assuming he stays fit and selected) he can get you 10 goals a season.
I'd prefer 10 more clean sheets
