Thomason booked for kicking the ball away? Harsh given the whistle hadn't gone at that point.

That penalty came about because Gethin Jones had intercepted and made a good run forwards but found absolutely nobody to pass to. Loses the ball, out of position, we never recover. Yes he can be criticised for losing the ball but he had no f*cker showing for it.

Poor from Jones in the build up.

Started well, they've got a penalty. Pretty blatant to say the least.

Am I allowed to say it's their first shot on target?

Can add that to the list of soft goals this season.
I agree no-one showed for Jones.

The lid is off and I expect the ketchup to start flowing.

Was that Thomason's second yellow card?

Well, Look Southward saved one then. Pushed it straight out to one of theirs on the six-yard line, like, but luckily yer man blazed it over. (Does anyone ever "blaze it in"?)DJBlu wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 3:23 pmYou are sir.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 3:21 pmAm I allowed to say it's their first shot on target?

That is certainly what PA/BBC have. SO that's Matete, Thomason and Lolos on yellows; luckily none of them ever seem at all prone to a daft second yellow....

The yellows are harsh. A penalty should be sufficient enough punishment for that foul. Lolos definitely deserved it and the Thomason one could've been enough for the ref to just say get on with it.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 3:30 pmThat is certainly what PA/BBC have. Forino, man. I think with the right service (and assuming he stays fit and selected) he can get you 10 goals a season.
