Roy Keane gone?

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

It would prove all Irish stereotypes correct if Quinn doesnt employ Allardyce. He would definately pull them out of the s*it!

Who knows.
I do. Never in a squillion years.
But they're such a massive club. Streets ahead of us, as they proved at the weekend. And if Megson has ambitions to manage in the Champions League, why wouldn't he go, if and when they come calling?

After all, his achievements in management are pretty much on a par with Keane's - gaining promotion and keeping a team up. Although he has spent rather less to achieve it. And, of course, he isn't as much of a coward, so would be unlikely to walk away at the first sign of things going wrong. He's just what they're looking for.

All I can think of is all the times Sunderland fans have told us that "Roy Keane is taking us places" or something similar.

That worked out well for them didn't it.

Big Sam clear favourite.

Betfred have Steve Cram and Heather Mills at 5000/1.

Tell thee what, those sunderland posters have gone awfully quiet around these parts haven't they?

Surely that would depend on whether Millsie is on the left or the right...

I'd like to think that this would put an end to all the endless media fawning over Keane, but i doubt it.

He's fecking shite. And a coward to boot.

The next Alex Ferguson? More like the next Kevin Keegan.

I am one of the few people on this board who did not hate Keane as a player. He was tough and at times dirty, but hockey is my favourite sport so maybe that was why I respected him. As a manager though I have wanted him to fail from the set go. Don't know why. After the Bolton game I told my friends he would walk before the Man U game. I had to laugh when I received a call from a friend confirming the news today.

I reckon that that chap Nosworthy could sort out the queues for beer at half time. He's got the look of a catering operative about him.

Martin O’Neill has always been a favourite of the Sunderland fans

I can take tough aplenty, not so keane on the dirty, but the downright vindictive is why I had no time for him.
as an aside he reminds me of sourness jumps ship before the shit you have caused hits the fan. Not to mention his childishness when Taylor choose us.

You might just be tempted to feel a little sorry for the situation if the fans weren't so absolutely deluded as to their station in life.

Sunderland players celebrate

What a nice chap Roy sounds. Him and the monkeys up North deserved each other.
