You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

But they're such a massive club. Streets ahead of us, as they proved at the weekend. And if Megson has ambitions to manage in the Champions League, why wouldn't he go, if and when they come calling?CrazyHorse wrote:I do. Never in a squillion years.Puskas wrote:Megson to replace him?
Who knows.
After all, his achievements in management are pretty much on a par with Keane's - gaining promotion and keeping a team up. Although he has spent rather less to achieve it. And, of course, he isn't as much of a coward, so would be unlikely to walk away at the first sign of things going wrong. He's just what they're looking for.

Surely that would depend on whether Millsie is on the left or the right...Lord Kangana wrote:3 legged race dream team.warthog wrote:Big Sam clear favourite.
Betfred have Steve Cram and Heather Mills at 5000/1.

I am one of the few people on this board who did not hate Keane as a player. He was tough and at times dirty, but hockey is my favourite sport so maybe that was why I respected him. As a manager though I have wanted him to fail from the set go. Don't know why. After the Bolton game I told my friends he would walk before the Man U game. I had to laugh when I received a call from a friend confirming the news today.

I reckon that that chap Nosworthy could sort out the queues for beer at half time. He's got the look of a catering operative about him.Lord Kangana wrote:Any of their players we could pinch/would want come January?
Theres a couple I'd go for.

I can take tough aplenty, not so keane on the dirty, but the downright vindictive is why I had no time for him.seanworth wrote:I am one of the few people on this board who did not hate Keane as a player. as an aside he reminds me of sourness jumps ship before the shit you have caused hits the fan. Not to mention his childishness when Taylor choose us.
