There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

That reminds me, Larsson was embarrasing yesterday. He badly needs to give it up.

I didn't see enough of him to comment. Nothing too impressive though. Gimme Larsson instead!

Wilhelmsson didn't look too clever either. THe usual story. Looked busy and eager, but no end product....til he crocked himseif. Still the biggest disappointment of the season for me. Braaten= disappointment no.2. He may come good yet though... :pissed:
Seemed to be playing in midfield, seemed fairly anonymous...which is either good, in that he won't get his price hiked, or bad, as in he's sh*t.
they played him quite deep - the game having already been won - but unless I'm mistaken - he was the one who hooked it back into the area for the second goal.....

talking of the euros..

heard Alan Green (spit) commentating on portugal/CzechRep - he suddenly decides to have a moan at the Portugese commentary team in the next booth/box/room - whatever they are sitting in - and he says.......

"Oh I wish he'd shut up - how can anyone stand listening to that for a whole game!"

has the man no sense of irony at all??????????

Lol @ Swiss vs Turks. You can't beat a grudge match in the rain.

Rain? Wicked surface and it's coming down in bathfuls and getting worse by the minute. Somebody'll geta broken leg if these challenges go on. Toblerones score a treacle-sponger. 1-0.

This game is brilliant. All games involving shit teams should be played under these conditions. One Turk has just slid off the pitch and ended up somewhere in Germany.

This is a whole new dimension. Flipper-ball, water gymnastics. One hefty Turk going down almost caused a sunami.

You're going to have to educate me here, Bobby. How's it a grudge match? :?

Major clash the last time they played - Turkey got a six game behind closed doors penalty after fight between players - or something - as I recall.

World cup playoff, lots of racism and fighting with the final score 4-3 or something I think.

Duncan Goodhew's standing by to take over the commentary if the rain doesn't stop.

4-2 but ended 4-4 on aggregate and Turkey went out on away goals.

Surely people haven't forgotten our first EUFA cup season? That game was hilarious, water-polo!

Nope, haven't forgotten Bolton Waterbabes v Zenit Surfriders. Tough on the Tobes tonight though to lose right at the death and go out of the comp.

Croats impressive this afternoon. Modric looks like he'll do a job at Spurs. Olic is on a par if not better than SKD when it comes to work rate.

Aye, but Davo does it every week. Imagine what he'd do if he got capped.

Great game Italy - Romania, the Romanians surprisingly good. Superb save from Buffon to keep the Italians in it! Hope they stuff the French next match.
