EURO 2008

they played him quite deep - the game having already been won - but unless I'm mistaken - he was the one who hooked it back into the area for the second goal.....Lord Kangana wrote:Seemed to be playing in midfield, seemed fairly anonymous...which is either good, in that he won't get his price hiked, or bad, as in he's sh*t.marshall_42 wrote:Elmander? Any opinions?
I didn't see enough of him to comment. Nothing too impressive though. Gimme Larsson instead!
Wilhelmsson didn't look too clever either. THe usual story. Looked busy and eager, but no end product....til he crocked himseif. Still the biggest disappointment of the season for me. Braaten= disappointment no.2. He may come good yet though...
talking of the euros..
heard Alan Green (spit) commentating on portugal/CzechRep - he suddenly decides to have a moan at the Portugese commentary team in the next booth/box/room - whatever they are sitting in - and he says.......
"Oh I wish he'd shut up - how can anyone stand listening to that for a whole game!"
has the man no sense of irony at all??????????

Major clash the last time they played - Turkey got a six game behind closed doors penalty after fight between players - or something - as I recall.Bruce Rioja wrote:You're going to have to educate me here, Bobby. World cup playoff, lots of racism and fighting with the final score 4-3 or something I think.

Nope, haven't forgotten Bolton Waterbabes v Zenit Surfriders. Tough on the Tobes tonight though to lose right at the death and go out of the comp.FD wrote:Surely people haven't forgotten our first EUFA cup season?
