Re: Euro 2012
Thought the game was the dullest I've seen yet in this competition - two sides playing poorly for me. Meireles was rubbish, Cech should have saved the goal and the CR didn't have a shot on target so didn't look like scoring.Tangodancer wrote:Okay. Come on then. Give me your take on it.
I also realise my comment came across a bit harsh.

Football's always controversial. Wouldn't do for us all to think the same way.

It is a game of opinions and that is the attraction.TANGODANCER wrote:Football's always controversial. Wouldn't do for us all to think the same way.

I blame Russia for being so fecking lazy they let Greece roll them out in the final group game. Would've given Cristiano and the Fairly Decent Ten a real game.

First of all, scribe, England has a capital "E", but you know that.William the White wrote:

I suspect your Anglophobia is tainting your view somewhat, as my optimism affects mine.

Re: Euro 2012
WOW is this tournament fixed. Does he know something we do not?
Portugal team doctor Henrique Jones confirmed Postiga is doubtful for the semi-final against France or Spain next Wednesday.
"We are going to evaluate the extent of the injury more closely tomorrow (Friday)," he said.
"But even if it is not a serious one, it looks inevitable he will be out of contention for the semi-finals.
"We are going to do all we can to ensure we get him back for the final."

Don't agree with either of you two about much, but i'd pass you the cricket bat Jaffka...jaffka wrote:With you there, I find his arrogance and big headedness as to how good he thinks he is, very annoying. Re: Euro 2012
I'm not sure if it's been mentioned but I have been very impressed with Joe Hart in this tournament, both on and off the field.
His interviews have really impressed me and you can tell that he is there to win it, not just go along for the ride.
A definite for the future captaincy of England.
