Euro 2012

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Thought the game was the dullest I've seen yet in this competition - two sides playing poorly for me. Meireles was rubbish, Cech should have saved the goal and the CR didn't have a shot on target so didn't look like scoring.

I also realise my comment came across a bit harsh.

Football's always controversial. Wouldn't do for us all to think the same way.

It is a game of opinions and that is the attraction.

I blame Russia for being so fecking lazy they let Greece roll them out in the final group game. Would've given Cristiano and the Fairly Decent Ten a real game.

oh, and have some Mario:

First of all, scribe, England has a capital "E", but you know that.

I suspect your Anglophobia is tainting your view somewhat, as my optimism affects mine. :)

WOW is this tournament fixed. Does he know something we do not?
Portugal team doctor Henrique Jones confirmed Postiga is doubtful for the semi-final against France or Spain next Wednesday.

"We are going to evaluate the extent of the injury more closely tomorrow (Friday)," he said.

"But even if it is not a serious one, it looks inevitable he will be out of contention for the semi-finals.

"We are going to do all we can to ensure we get him back for the final."

With you there, I find his arrogance and big headedness as to how good he thinks he is, very annoying. So much that I could snap a cricket bat on his face.
Don't agree with either of you two about much, but i'd pass you the cricket bat Jaffka...

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned but I have been very impressed with Joe Hart in this tournament, both on and off the field.

His interviews have really impressed me and you can tell that he is there to win it, not just go along for the ride.

A definite for the future captaincy of England.

And he said he'll have a dip if it goes to penalties. Three notches up on the you'll-do-for-me-Cocker-o-metre! :oyea:
