Yes to Moz and yes let's see what happens in that last week. It could be that Blackpool losing to Birmingham will confirm our playoff spot; or it could be that Huddersfield-Orient on the last day turns into a morose dead rubber if we're beating Stevenage at home.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Sat Apr 05, 2025 10:43 amGuessing Morley was just one match ban?
Surely the cunning plan from this point is to try and nab a 4 point advantage over the next 6 games and grab a day off? Easier said than done, but not sure there will be any unnecessary rotation.

Lolos and Schon both in late, so won't be in the side.

Morley for Thomo, CMG for Randall. Demps on bench!

Reading penalty. 1-0
Wrexham 2 up.
Can't see Wrexham messing this up from here.

Like that.
Assume Thomasson having a bit of a breather after the exertions of Tuesday, and CMG obviously fancied ahead of Randall for this one.
Great to see Dempsey back on the bench
Oh, and don't worry. It'll be reet. We'll shit 'em

Not in the 18:
• Murphy (that's four games without being called upon - inc two unused subs)
• Lolos (three successive games out of the 18, only a few scrappy minutes the 10 matches since the Wrexham cup game)
Perhaps slightly interesting that Matete stays on the bench despite Thomo, Dempsey and Randall also being on there. Not great news for either Murphy (Jones is the sole defensive sub) or Lolos (Etete the only possible 9).

Have to say I never bought the narrative that we'd be better facing Wrexham in the playoffs.
That said, they're not doing TOO badly. They had 17 shots to Reading's 6 and they're not on terrible form... but Stockport and even more so Charlton are in better form over the last 6/8/10/12 games. Not sure I can be arsed to do the "if they follow this form" spreadsheets I've done before, but I'd say you may well be right. Which begs the question, would we rather face Charlton or Stockport in the semis?

The other thing to note about the lunch kickoffs is that Wycombe smashed Burton, who are 3pts behind Bristol Rovers and could have pushed them below the dots by winning. Whether our visitors now lose a bit of focus or relax rather than panic, we'll soon see.

Busy day today but here's hoping the lads do the business. Early brew then back to it.. COYWM!

We had a weird 30 seconds there where we took in turns to give them a chance
Plus side, Tutu looks up for it

Derek Clarke has gone from him being caught to jarring his knee. The lad was holding his hamstring when he went down.

Oh no, Forrester’s hamstring has gone.

He’s walking off, so hopefully it’s not too bad.
Bringing Thomason on at left back, though…

Looks a 4-2-3-1 in which Thomo at LB is the only real square peg. Sheehan and Morley in the 2, JOT and CMG wide of the Collins-off-McAtee double act.
