If carlsberg did transfer threads.....This would be it!

Where fellow sufferers gather to share the pain, longing and unrequited transfer requests that make being a Wanderer what it is...

Could be Emnes. Not who we need, but we're desperate.

Few others say Anichebe - who I do think would work well.

Anichebe would make much more sense than Emnes in my view.

Oh good grief, not Amichebe(sp? )from West Brom. There's a story with him and trust me, it's not a good one from our point of view.

Aye, I'd be happy with that. Always rated him. (yep, my fault if he turns up and is shit)

But could just be twitter rumours pulled from a hat. Doesn't make the bench at West Brom though, with them having Rondon and Berahino.

Presumably no signing will be announced until Friday because of the time limit on emergency loans. More bullshit rules!

:D I know someone who has worked at a couple of his clubs. The lad has talent and he's a good athlete, but believe it or not, he has no interest in football. He turns up, collects his wages, works just hard enough and goes home. Football is just a way of making money, which is allegedly why he has been poor at all of his clubs. He has enough stashed after his contract at Everton not to have to push himsel, so he doesn't and trying to motivate him has been all but impossible.

Maynard's signed for MK Dons.

This, my friends, is a sad, sad day - when a club that shouldn't even be here are a more attractive proposition than us! :hang:

I suspect it was more that we wanted someone else instead. Though were we both in for him it might not be an obvious choice as they probably can offer him better terms.

What is a fact at all levels of football us that players will follow the cash. There are few cases of romance involved in who signs for whom. Some may think a little more long term than others and a particular style of play/fit may matter to some. Geography has an impact with some but most of all an extra £500 a week wins the deal.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

Add him to anyone who ever turned us down to sign for Leeds City, sorry, United.

And to cap it all, apparently our Victor apparently sued Kev Nolan for a tackle that put him out injured for 11 months. Wouldn't be a happy reunion if KN did come back then!
