I think I'll laugh my head off when we recall Dan from Cambridge due to nobody signing to replace Dion.

It'll be like a new signing according to Ian Evatt.

Out for up to 3 months. Even for Evatt that would be risky on the injury front :D

All a secret ploy. You heard it here first.

On a serious note, does anyone else think this smells of Dion and Ian arguing and Ian getting rid?

I doubt Evatt would have the authority to do that, unless Dion was clearly in the wrong and was disrupting the group.

Clearly. I don’t think there is any doubt at all.

Huddersfield have been doing the legwork on this one.

I have no idea if there's been a falling out, but he's not just been booted and happened to have landed there.

Evatt's had a group of lads who have been promised Championship football as a minimum and he's not delivered it.

Some of those lads were bound to say, "I don't buy it, gaffer" and want out.

Lots of rumours from people so called ITK over the past day or so saying that there had been a serious fall out and that Evatt wanted him out - like he does when anyone disagrees with him.

I think this one is in the "all teams get new players" category so it should be broadly neutral.
But that's about the manager. If a player comes into a shitshow and still works their bollocks of and grabs goals then they should get the benefit of the doubt.
More league minutes than Charles, fewer league goals. And Charles was hardly ‘grabbing goals’.

View from Huddersfield is they’ve capitalised on a falling out. I suspect it is along the lines of Dion calling Evatt out for leaving his surest source of goals out of a struggling side, and suggesting there was more chance of the second coming than Evatt getting a team out of this league.

There is such a disconnect now between the board / Evatt and the supporters, such a pity its come to this.

In the current climate, I think it's one of those deals which suits all parties (apart from the fans)

I don’t believe there’s been a bust up. Dions probably pissed off that he’s been on the bench and they’ve decided that a move is the best course of action for everyone. Doesn’t mean they’ve been at loggerheads and had a fight.

People can disagree with eachother. It happens.

I think (I could be wrong) the Northern Ireland manager said a while ago that players needed to be club regulars to get picked, so that may be an issue too.

There's equally as good a chance that Huddersfield have come sniffing around and in order to facilitate the move we've benched him and said he's going to be playing second fiddle.

Whichever way we dress it up, there's no world in which selling your top goal scorer to a team vying for the same objective is helpful to your end of season target.

I have heard, from someone I trust, that there has been a falling out within the club around DC. It was a couple of weeks ago wasn't it when he was spotted meeting Duff? I can only imagine he's been told he can go and we made other clubs aware. Does make me wonder why we've not got his replacement already lined up.

Or why we didn’t try and push an auction - it’s not like the window shuts tomorrow? There was a story about him meeting duff in a local hotel I think. If you want championship football Dion we’re your best bet is all that was needed to be said!

You can't auction a player who wants to go to a specific club.
