You've obvioulsy got long term memory loss then... O'Kane, Ostemobor, McAnespie... Steinsson is Cafu-esq compared to them 3.

John O'Kane was the worst player we've had in the last 15 years bar none. And you can include Wayne Burnett in that.

Darren Holloway was utter wank. I'd probably rate him in behind those mentioned, though he barely played for us, so bad he was!

Ferguson's a knob. Constantly slated Bolton when he was at Blackburn!! That said, he's a good player.

Hunt who'll probably be plying his trade in league 1 or worse next season?

I always liked Scott Green myself.

To me Steinsson has the ability, just sometimes lacks the concentration. I remember thinking he was brilliiant after he man marked Gareth Bale for the full 90 when we played Tottenham at home AND got on the score sheet (this is the same gareth bale who had just made a mockery of one of the best right backs in the world)

Looks like Jay Bothroyd's having a medical at QPR, so sigh with relief / cry with frustration (delete as applicable)

Its not what we really need though, is it? I'd say energy and workrate are high on the list of our priorities, indeed on anyone's priorities in a 4 man midfield in the Prem. You've got to be one hell of a player to not have to be a bit of an athlete in central midfield these days.

153 pages on this thread and 51 on the Gary Cahill saga. 204 pages of repetitive twaddle. Think I'll prick my finger and go into a deep sleep until the season begins - just hop :) e it's not a handsome prince that wakes me up
