This ref will send one of ours off.

Might as well make some subs now.

That's awful from Dixon.

Great first half but this was always gonna happen. Too quick for our pressing. Dixon in no man’s land. Damage limitation now. COYW

Why the feck has he started Dixon?

Nah we made five v Salford. I would now make a lot of subs, partly to save energy, partly to give experience.nicholaldo wrote: ↑Tue Aug 23, 2022 9:03 pmDave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Tue Aug 23, 2022 8:59 pmSantos was on his heels for that Ings shot on the post. It's striking, isn't it?
I was about to post that Evatt should try and make his substitutions early to try and compensate for any mental, if not necessarily physical, fatigue our players might be feeling, then I realised he can only make three in this competition.

Subs. Linesman playing by numbers. Dixon losing his near post...sigh.

Lost our heads now. Shame, we gave a good account of ourself first hour. Don’t get stuffed.

His positioning was awful. You could have thrown a bus down his right.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Tue Aug 23, 2022 9:12 pmSubs. Linesman playing by numbers. Dixon losing his near post...sigh.

Dixon plays in the pizza cup only. I’d be fecked off if I were Traf.

If we're not looking to upgrade Dixon then that is a big mistake.

Can't blame the goalie for failings in front of him.

So we did. I don't know why I thought three was the maximum.
Ditto re. substitutions. Leaving Bradley on here feels a bit indulgent.

Terrible ball from Lee, and not his first this half. Before the break he was the best player on the pitch; now he looks mid-30s. Get Morley on for the experience.

Santos has shown up very well against two England international forwards.

Very well for a lazy non-leaguer
Re: Heroes and Villans: Aston Villa (H, Lge Cup 2) Tue 23 Aug @7.45pm
Sadly TD on this showing you can.
1st goal if not impeded then his positioning was responsible for them scoring directly from the corner.
2nd, catches Ings trailing leg. Penalty.
3rd. Positioning and offering about 1.5meters of space for the lad to knock it in.

What a shift from Bradley again. Also, did the ref just book Baka for that one foul?
