Commie, you seem a bit keen on Wee Markie's liver. I don't think you should be sticking it in a blender though. You might want to try the following recipe:
Fegato alla Lechter con i fagioli di fava
Recipe Ingredients
* 1 ½ pounds liver
* 4 ounces fava beans, boiled
* 2 tablespoons virgin olive oil
* 1 tablespoon white wine
* Salt
* Pepper
* Parsley
Preparation Instructions
* Boil fava beans until tender, 4 to 5 minutes.
* Slice into very thin strips the liver (trimmed)
* Heat in heavy pan over medium heat 2 tablespoons virgin olive oil.
* Add in the fava beans.
* Cook 3-4 minutes until beans turn golden.
* Scrape beans onto a plate. Add 1 additional tablespoon oil to pan and heat over medium heat. Add liver and salt and pepper to taste. Raise heat to high and cook about 3 minutes (cook until the liver just loses its pink color, but do not overcook!)
* Return fava beans to the pan and add 1 tablespoon white wine.
* Stir until beans have been heated through for 2 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately.
Apparently a cheeky Italian Pinot Grigio, rather than a Chianti Classico, is the recommended accompaniment.

I saw them in Atlantic City in February. I am going to go see them play the Patriot's NFL stadium next month. I am very excited!Gnome wrote:tell you who else you should go and see - Bon Jovi. In the interests of parity, would anybody object if I were to recommend to the house a fantastic , yet pretty much unheard of British band by the name of Clayhill?
If you're interested in creativity, musical abilility, originality and acoustic beauty coupled with outstanding all round dexterity and a guy with one of the finest voices I've heard in years (imo), rather than stadium filling, manufactured pap (also imo), then you may want to listen out for them.
Go knock yourself out, but if it's shiny, poppy stuff that you're after then leave well alone.

Their first offering, 'The connection has timed out', leaves a lot to be desired.Bruce Rioja wrote:In the interests of parity, would anybody object if I were to recommend to the house a fantastic , yet pretty much unheard of British band by the name of Clayhill?
