Aye and the outfield resembles a swimming pool by the sound of it.

So, now that we've lost a day and it'll probably end up in a draw, would we not be better off keeping Freddie back for the next one?

Not ashes, but still cricket, radio said Lancashire lost a bowl-off (bowl-out whatever) 5-1. I thought this was my lack of knowledge of cricket, but apparently I was correct in thinking you had to hit the unguarded stumps. How the feck can they only get one?! I could hit it more times than that!

Interesting. Aussies should be two down, Watson was plumb bang lbw and the umpire will know it when he sees the video.
Good umpiring with the other appeals but that a was nailed on one. Must be hard bowling on that pitch but plaudits to the groundsmen for a magnificent effort in sorting it. Like to see a bit more variety in the deliveries though.

Just seen that on Granada Reports. Some of the attempts were absolutely pitiful.

I was a bowler. Even now if I couldn't hit unguarded stumps three times out of five I'd be pretty pxxxed off with myself.
