Not ashes, but still cricket, radio said Lancashire lost a bowl-off (bowl-out whatever) 5-1. I thought this was my lack of knowledge of cricket, but apparently I was correct in thinking you had to hit the unguarded stumps. How the feck can they only get one?! I could hit it more times than that!

Interesting. Aussies should be two down, Watson was plumb bang lbw and the umpire will know it when he sees the video.
Good umpiring with the other appeals but that a was nailed on one. Must be hard bowling on that pitch but plaudits to the groundsmen for a magnificent effort in sorting it. Like to see a bit more variety in the deliveries though.

Just seen that on Granada Reports. Some of the attempts were absolutely pitiful.Prufrock wrote:Not ashes, but still cricket, radio said Lancashire lost a bowl-off (bowl-out whatever) 5-1. I was a bowler. Even now if I couldn't hit unguarded stumps three times out of five I'd be pretty pxxxed off with myself.Harry Genshaw wrote:Just seen that on Granada Reports.
