Over the weekend I drove from The Garden to Doncaster, then to Norwich, before returning to The Garden.

I have no traffic issues to report.

I try not to drive long distances these days and take the train where possible. I've got to pick a friend up from Gatwick next month and the cheapest return for 2 was over 200 quid. Looks like a very early start and a prayer for no hold ups if your experiences are anything to go by.

It's only a problem on days with a 'Y' in. X

A couple of weeks ago it took me two hours to drive from home to a meeting in Knutsford. To put that in context - last night my flight time from Copenhagen to Manchester was 1hr:50mins.

Hold up. Had another look online today and found a new release of cheap tickets. Single to Gatwick £22, 2 returns from London to Poulton £48 and 2 returns to Edinburgh (for the Fringe) £36. Bargain.
