Re: Evans 'elp us, Wembley or bust? - Leeds (H) 30/01/16
And....the keeper gets it. 17.000 crowd announced (7.000 visitors..) Madine's shot goes to the keeper. COME ON LADS....Amos, Spearing, Dervite passes back. Now Holding, Woolery and...Amos almost gives them another chance as his clearance is closed down. A Dervite clearance comes back then he hacks it out for a throw. Now throw us and then one to them. We have time if we strike now......and mic man ....we break ....and Feeney hits a wild one as some of our fans have had enough. Who can blame them? Strike now lads and frighten em to death....They come again and....we clear. Vela.....and...Pratley hits Beluci from ten yards. Corner, cleared, they break and a cheeky halfway effort is cleared. Again they come and a Mafia-sounding Leeds player gets the good word. They look to keep the possesion and probably play time out. COME ON......a throw us and ...oh.....a corner us and we seem to be still trying a bit. Ten to go and.....PRATLEEEEEEEE 2-1

COME ON.........we can still do it......we can....weather sound like a bad day in Narnia as they get a free kick near the lampost. Now Moxey clears...Spearing.....Madine...a bad pass...... Moxey again and Wollery fouls a defender. And now.....COME ON, COME ON,....Free kick and Amos and ....and.....Madine.....Moxey, Woolery.....A DEEP THROW AND...cleared..Moxey again, Holding, Vela...Moxey....cleared and.....and they make a sub. Moxey throw and....cleared and they get a free kick. Four mins....

Nope - got 18,048 against Blackburn and 18,178 in the Leeds home league game. Not sure where our next 17k crowd is coming from, though.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:17,336 attendance. Biggest in a while?

Into four minutes' added time and Leeds slip on another time-sucking sub

Feeney goes, Madine, Pratley and.......oohhhhhhhhhh how the fck did we not get that? Madine is not a striker. He is the main reason we are losing in stead of winning. Not a goal machine at all......Come on Madine, redeem yourself.....another sub for Leeds. Bamber off.....Woolery..cleared. Vela, Dervite, Moxey...Hol;ding, Dervite, Spearing makes a bollox of his pass and they get a throw.....almost normal time up and.....four mins. COME ON YOU WHITES...COME ON YOU WHITES, COME ON YOU WHITES.......ANOTHER SUB TO THEM and.......Throw us, long, they clear and break....Woiolery wins and.....a great sliding challenge robs him say our man. Holding.....another theow us....and....Feeney and.....keeper slaps away and Holding set us off again....Pratley and....Feeney and Vela and....Moxey and....they clear a slapped effort from Sylvester Stallone. Why oh why did we leave it so late? Have to say it sounds like Madine has lost it.....he has.....1-2 and out..

Ah well our turn now.
Re: Evans 'elp us, Wembley or bust? - Leeds (H) 30/01/16
Listened on't wireless today and Dean Holden made the same points that Simon Charlton always makes; our back 4 allow themselves to be pulled out of position time and again. At the start of this season, we conceded few goals, even if we couldn't score. It begs the question as to what Steve Wolford is doing??! We change our defensive coach and subsequently fall apart at the back.

One more point. Bogdan got endless stick from our fans, yet Amos is possibly the worst keeper we've had for some years. And he's allegedly being paid a small fortune.

That was fxcking gash. When I left home this afternoon there were blue skies, bit of a breeze, but sorta springlike. After nearly two hours freezing to death (should had hat and gloves. Basics really
) I decided for the first time in decades to leave a match early, so I missed our goal. Not that we were ever going to win that match. There's no pheremones between our players - they just look beaten even mid first half. There's running and some effort but they just don't gell.
Anyway it was shit.
But at least my route home has brought me to one of my least travelled to pub gems. Having a pint in the Hanging Gate on Cheshire border before final push on home...

Meh. Leeds played well, they were well disciplined and organised and attacked with pace and intent.
We couldn't cope really. And lacked most of the qualities they brought to the game.

Yeah, a very poor effort on that first goal and then the rot set in. He isn't very good.Bijou Bob wrote:One more point. Bogdan got endless stick from our fans, yet Amos is possibly the worst keeper we've had for some years. And he's allegedly being paid a small fortune.

Qualities they brought to the game? It was two teams of cart horses pretending they could chariot race. The only difference was our lot wore blinkers and still had the ploughs attached.BWFC_Insane wrote:Meh. Leeds played well, they were well disciplined and organised and attacked with pace and intent.
