Vela sallies, they clear, we reclaim. Again we try and....they cover well and recover. Now them and we get a throw. Some chat about unimportant things like other scores, then Vela goes. Goal kick them. And...Dervite heads, back it comes and we try to set Woolery off and that finishes up back with Amos. Get the goal back lads and make a game of it. Spearing, Dervite, Feeney and cleared. Throw us and...Vela and...long and....we keep till it ends up as a goal kick to them. They come, Trotter send us of. A bit of possession and another throw us. Dervite follows Silva with two pooor passes. Davies, Holding..........Woolery, them, Silva and.....they clear poorly but Spearing loses out. We clear and go again to talk of good defending. Pitty we're doing it after going one down. Now then....Davies, Silva, Davies, Vela.....and...and...all that had no end product. Again we sally, they clear but to Davies and....now...Totter, Silva....loses out but we get a free kick. GET ONE IN THE NET LADS....Silva....Moxey and....Feeney can't reach it. Holding clears, throw them.

I don’t think the reaction [to going behind] is good enough. We’ll concede goals whether it be a deflection, a set-piece, a wonder-goal, it’s life. You have to keep believing in yourselves and keep going. You have to try and stay in the game for the next 10-15 minutes and steady yourselves. Heads seem to drop easily and we just don’t seem to manage the game well enough.

Holding feeds Silva and we have a pass-around before they clear and break. Goal kick us and they are sounding the more dangerous on the break. Some possesion then Silva gets dispossesed before Moxey clears. Now Vela and we find defenders waiting....but get a corner....and....Feeney....and...they clear again....and we come again and....Mark Davies tries one but it's blocked. The break, we clear, throw them. Again they try and...it goes backwards. We set off again, Spearing decides not to bother having a sprint and.....mic man praises our possession. No goals or points for possession. Get level lads and let's start again. Now they have a sally and Moxey gives one away. Free kick them, cleared, they try again and it all ends up with Amos.

Sky man says we are having more of the ball, and in the Wolves half, but Woolery is isolated upfront in our 4141 formation - we need to get men forward to support him

We could have been within 2 points of Rotherham.

How is that not motivation enough for a performance?

Throw to the cubs and they have a yelp that we clear. Mark Davies not getting the good words for effort from micman. Come on you Whites, get moving. We sally, Woolery gets caught offside. Holding does well, Vela loses out and they sally at us but then go backwards. Micmen have a mither about owt and nowt and we clear but the homers come again. Good and bad stuff from Dervite and we intercept and......ohhhh Feeney sends a dipper just over the bar.

That's no surprise....Madine's usually the one isolated. Lennon's just put Woollery up there instead. There's no thought process to Lennon's tactics. It's just stick a player here and there and hope it works

We reclaim it Well again and....Feeney, Feeney, and Trotter gives a free kick away. We come back and....it's blocked and cleared. We're promising much and to no end it sounds like. Lennon not happy apparently but we now have a free kick. Are we lining up to equalise......??? Nope, micman blames the pitch. All back and forth but all we want to here is an equaliser. They now sally the pack at us and......Moxey eventually clears but gets penalised for no visible reason. And.....their free kick and Vela sees it out but Amos has the last laugh. Davies, Feeney.....and Davies does a Toblerone header. Plenty sounding huff and puff and they get a deep free kick. Now's the time lads, now's the time....and they have an unsuccsessful foray. They have it again and....us, them, us and....them....and Holding has to get Van La Para's effort out for a corner....and another off Moxey.....and....and....Silva goes, Feeney, Silva....and it ends up with their keeper. And now.....Woolery tries but the defenders win out. They nick it and....Van la Para's effort is smothered. We go via Moxey and.....Silva and....a Wiganer.

5hit teams often look like this. Todds 95/96 Prem failures were a good example. So many games where Blake ploughed a lone furrow upfront. Poor Woolery.

Sounds like 2 horribly shit teams but one with a greater propensity to shoot itself in the foot.
I'm going to run, shower, eat and not check the score until it's over because otherwise it's a frustrating waste of an evening. I expect we will do them some favours and lose 4 nil.

" A lack of quality" claims mic man as Moxey gives one away. And...they try again and...Trotter block and we clear. Feeney....Wollery robbed by experience. Oh for a striker.....They have a corner and La Para sends one in and...Moxey clears for a throw. And......and....we now have a free kick for offside. Two shots from us this half? And now....they have it back and the ref gets "hard done by" with a free kick decision. Silva, Trotter.....and then they grab it, we take it back, Silva, Davies, Silva.....and......a shot ( 3 now) and....it's gathered. They have a homers visit, we clear, Vela does badly and.......Amos makes a super save from Joe Mason. Matters not, he was offside. They hit a Wiganer as almost the last effort of Part one. And, wait.........we get a free kick in a dangerous area. And......it's....Moxey.....or Feeney and Moxey hits the wal and it bounces to the keeper. 1-0 them as the curtain falls on Act One.

Once more unto the breach....or something. Part two, Act one:

Away....."Wolves are here for the taking" claims micman, and he's normally a negative force more interested in Bury.
Let's have em then...I just refuse to believe we are not the one and only Wanderers. We are having this one. COME ON YOU WHITES, let's have their fans leaving early...defeated........

And....no obvious changes....talk of a possible Ivanhoe heroic entry later...Wollery has a spring...goal kick them. The wolverines just don't sound much like Barcelona. Free kick us, now Trotter, Davies, Woolery, Davies, Woolery, Feeney, header from Davies, Spearing and....they break....offside.

Trotter, Spearing, Silva, Moxey, again....and a throw us. Silva loses out, Spearing intervenes, throw them. Dervite, now Amos and away we go again.....Woolery does well and.....Silva, Davies and....Trotter side foots one. We still have it and....it ends back with Amos. We have it again and.....they reclaim it via Rowe. Lennon doing a Riverdance on the side line, apparently. Again we try and....now Holding, Dervite, loses out and they sally woefully. Amos, Dervite, long and now Trotter. All to and fro from the sound of it. Moxey doesn't like Van la Para's elbow, but now we have a free kick near half way. Come on lads......wasted short free kick moaned about by micman. Moxey now and a throw.....And...Silva.....Vela.....tried one that the keeper managed to grab. Better. Now Silva and....no free kick with him on the deck. They now attack and.....and.....Amos gives it a Tyson Furie and then grabs the return.

Now they go backwards. Moxey now, Davies, Trotter......amd to and fro and now we do well again. Spearing and...a chat amongst the mic men...and....They have a dabble and....we clear...and do it poorly. What use all of it if we don't score? That means we must score, not just one but two or three. We are dominating....to what end? Lets have a chat about the Prem hey mic lads, oh, wait, they break and get a free kick. And....

Silva, Trotter, Feeney and...they clear for a throw. Lennon waves his arms in frustration and.....and....Totter, Spearing Vela, and....headed clear. Spearing....shoots, blocked.....corner us.
