I was going to start the no breaking news thread for people to come on and tell us what news hasn't broke in the last 48 hours.

You start that and then I'll have to start the 'news that eventually broke over 48 hours after not being posted on the no breaking news' thread.

One for Worthy's thread: SkyNews had a story yesterday that said three buyers were still involved in negotiations, the Trust, Sports Shield, and A. N. Other.
Roger Tamraz was not mentioned once.

Him not being mentioned is news in itself, isn't it?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I'm now not inclined to believe Sports Shield when they have their little hissy-fits in Iles' ear and claim they are on the verge of walking out if it takes ANY longer - seriously - yes - we're off - we've had enough of this - it's outrageous - we're done - we're out the door... bye... errr... BYE!! we're going now... can you see us waving goodbye???

Pretty much how I see them! We need a tonne of cash to just operate, they obviously haven't got it as it would've been done by now. Something screams cowboy about them! Happy to be proved wrong though.

It's an absence of news. A name hole. Unbreaking not news. An absence of journalistic enquiry.
But yeh, it's news if inferences can be called news, which in Iles case is always so.

The lack of information about the takeover bids is ridiculous. The Bolton News should be all over this, constantly giving updates, yet we get nothing. We didn't even know shout the billionaire bid until he himself came out with it but prior to that, we didn't hear a thing. The journalism has been terrible, we don't get to hear anything. We just wait endlessly for tiny bits of vague, useless information that'll be contradicted in the next update. I don't dislike Iles but he should be doing far better considering how important this is to the club.

Don't you go letting that get in the way of a good ol' moan.

Mind you, I prefer it when he's quiet.

The only person who can progress a sale is Eddie Davies, a man who spends most of his time in the Carribbean and can only spend a certain amount of time in the UK due to tax reasons.

A man who has given about 2 interviews in his 15 odd years as owner.

Not really sure the local paper have the resource to do anymore to cover this story than they are doing.

If one believes Nixon even senior figures at the club don't know what is going on with Eddie and why he is stalling on making any decision. If they don't have the details I'm not sure why the local reporter should considering he probably gets paid far less than most on here.

If one believes Nixon...?
Words fail me. What has he reported at any stage of this disaster that can be called news? Nothing.
