A full back capable of getting forwards is great but he has to be able to complete his primary role.
Trashly Cole was supposed to be a great fullback, I never rated him because of the number of times he was caught way out of position, i.e.. not fulfilling his primary role.
Defending was the strongest part of his game!!
Was it bollocks, the number of times he got a sweat on trying to get back after dropping a clanger up field was ridiculous, usually involved a foul or two and a fair share of petulance!
We are on about Ashley Cole here, aren't we?

He was pretty good going forward too, tbf. Imagine how good he'd have been if he could kick further than 30 yards!
Yeah but nothing tops J'lloyd's perfectly timed tackle on the greasy cnut from which they rag bastards got a penalty.
Don't remind me. That was the best bit of defending he did for us, if not in his whole career. Even that tw*t looked embarrassed to get that one, and that didn't happen much!
I must have had a brain freeze re that challenge. I could have sworn it was Ricardo that got wrongly penalised.

I remember Ricardo for lots of good things. I only remember J'lloyd for one. :-)

It was either that or his swimming pool. Proper tasteless Lottery winner's stuff. I'll try to dig it out. (The item, not a hot tub)

Ah, I'd forgotten Bruce's unbridled disdain for old JLo.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I remember seeing his house on t.v. (may have been thru the keyhole?). Anyway, he had the largest collection of men's aftershave and fragrances I've ever seen.
Even more than those dodgy f4ckers on the market with their mountainous stalls of 'smell a likes'. (smells f4ck all like, more like).

I misread it and was about to ask whether she was hanging out of the back of Jamie Redknapp with it...
