The '#bwfc = All done' bit reads to me as though Sports Shield have proven their availability of funds to Eddie but not yet to the football league.BWFC_Insane wrote:You missed the ever so helpful = All done bit!Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Have proven? Note on funding. Bidder has to put £ up front for ED to fund rest of season and prove £ for the future with Football League #bwfc =All done.

Think it is everything. But we will see. There are still other things that need completing. Such as football league fit and proper clearance and lots of legal issues. Iles reckons all needs doing by close of play tomorrow.Nicko58 wrote:

Surreal to think a player I got excited about us signing could soon be our chairman.
Re: The breaking News thread...
Is there anybody guessed at whether we'll have any cash? Could do with a few loans, like! Striker would be nice!

Bolton news say training ground still likely to go as deal was done prior to Sports shield agreement.
If that is the case I would really really like to know where the money from the training ground sale is going. Considering Sports shield were ready to deal weeks ago after satisfying all demands made of them only for Eddie to drag his feet. And also given that we know 5.5M has been raised against the hotel ahead of the joint car park development which would be enough to pay the tax Man and wages for a couple of months.

Re: The breaking News thread...
How would knowing any of that help you? There are other creditors than HMRC including people like Warburton and Eddie Davies. You still have zero notion whether or not Sports Shield did or didn't meet the criteria laid out weeks ago. On the off chance that any of the reports came direct from one of the parties involved to Iles, which party would you think were most likely? ED or Sports Shield? Whose side of the story do you think might have formed the basis?

If they'd really satisfied all demands, would Eddie really be dragging his feet?BWFC_Insane wrote:http://m.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/1428 ... _Athletic/

Maybe he was waiting for any other options to come forward
Maybe they included the ST
Maybe they included very rich people who live quite near him
Maybe it's none of the above and he just forgot

Or perhaps he fancied selling a few assets for his retirement fund first?Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Maybe he was waiting for any other options to come forward

I'm not saying he can't, or that he has to be accountable or explain. He doesn't.
I'm saying I'd like to know.

We (allegedly) needed to pay quick quid £4+m, Brett Warburton £2.5m, Tax man seems to be at a marginal concensus of £3m..we clearly didn't have wages covered...over £1m per month by many accounts...There's £10m I can see without looking at any of the other "shorter than 1 year" debt.

Great did it pay all of it off? I'm still easily at £6.5m without the Nucleus Finance bit...BWFC_Insane wrote:We sold off offices to pay the loan company off a while back.Worthy4England wrote:We (allegedly) needed to pay quick quid £4+m, Brett Warburton £2.5m, Tax man seems to be at a marginal concensus of £3m..we clearly didn't have wages covered...over £1m per month by many accounts...There's £10m I can see without looking at any of the other "shorter than 1 year" debt.
