Yep. Today was not a given. Apparently the paperwork that needed signing was completed during the hearing. FFS. Club could have been liquidated today.
There are 14 days now. The sale must go through immediately to allow time for Football League approval. There can be no fecking about. They've already risked far too much.

What's worrying is it's the decision that's adjourned not the case.
One big massive axe over the club.

Re: The breaking News thread...
Was the best possible outcome. In this period we need the sale to go through and the new owners to pay the tax bill. There can't be anymore messing now. Otherwise we will be liquidated.DJBlu wrote:What's worrying is it's the decision that's adjourned not the case.

Davies sent a fax to the court confirming, the amateur.
Also confirmed the club still owe him £15 million.

Only person at the moment who deserves a suite naming after them is Hillary Stonefrost.

Trevor Birch told people at the court that he would make a statement later on the club website.
Any deal would be subject to football league clearance which could take a while and despite popular belief isn't a given. You have to prove to them future funds and also all board members have to pass the suitability tests.

*googles Bruce Gordon*
*looks puzzled, checks spelling, refreshes page*
*wonders if we've been bought by a bike shop owner, a dead actor or an American accountant with the worst website of all time*

Re: The breaking News thread...
Oh by the way the info about SS and Bruce Gordon was from Marc Iles. And seeing how he's usually wrong I'll just say, that isn't a fact yet. Just rumour.
Re: The breaking News thread...
Illes has also just confirmed it's the Bruce Gordon who owns Thames Valley Capital Ltd
