No comments, at all, on Lennon's comments - even the one about us having on option on Holding's contract - might demonstrate just how little we expect from this game. Feels like any hope for this season generated by Monday's escapology and takeover was easily extinguished by that wet fart of a performance on Tuesday.

Madine the machine will be rejuvenated and surge forth with a hat trick. You heard it here. :oyea:

Madine and Heskey back to make probably the slowest and most unproductive forward line in our history! I can only see a crushing defeat and I for one will be having a lot of scoops pre game just to pluck up the courage and watch the predicted farce!

However, COYWM!!

I am driving so I will not get the chance to watch in a drunken haze. I will be having more than a few scoops later trying to forget the mauling.

0-2 defeat - Burnley never getting out of first gear with us huffing and puffing but offering nothing up front.

He won't play Lord Heskey and Madine the Washing Machine up top together.

Urgh, I really need to rouse myself for this one.

At least the weather is dry?

Surely the most unpredictable part of the day is the weather? At least give it some options. :D

We'll concede 3 or 4. The fact Dervite is not playing makes me confident it wont be 6 or 7 :|

Please let us not operate the Lennon last ten minute wonder plan. You know, the one where he lets the players go out of our own half and saves the subs to terrify the opposition by surprising the shxt out of them in the 80th minute. On the odd occasion when we actually were in front at that time (rare, I admit), we still managed to give a goal away somehow. We either need to get in front by more than one goal (probably in the miraculous realm) or just line all eleven players up on our goal line and refuse to move. Mind you, none of that will matter if the goal machine actually has a day of it and gets a wonder hat-trick.....breath-holding not advised.

Any road up, still have to stick with tradition and say: COME ON YOU WHITES...... :oyea: :oyea: :oyea:

:P

Who says this is a match thread anyway? I was merely venting my hatred for teams that wear claret and blue, from West Ham to Scunthorpe. People presumed that it was a match thread and I followed the crowd.

You can't argue with Emile's 3-in-40 hit-rate, though.

Mic man reckons we're going to have to work hard today...really? He can't understand Wellington on the bench, but then, who can understand a lot of things right now? A day when Mark Davies needs to have one of his better games.
A White Heat display.....well, we can always hope. Dog walked. tea brewed, deep breath and....we're off....in a minute...
