Bear in mind that as a general rule, people only sue if it's derogatory (and unprovable).

Bear in mind that as a general rule, people only say "I know stuff but can't tell ya" if they know f*ck all.

"Ian isn't tweeting this, but back home at LoVS HQ we're hearing that the Football League approved the Sport Shield deal last night. All rumour and speculation, though, of course."

Nixon says we will ask for more time. Good luck with that then!

The club are now looking for an extension to transfer funds. We may have some life yet. (Not Ian)

Re: The breaking News thread...
Rumour that the adjournment until 2pm is to give club the opportunity to pay the tax bill!
Re: The breaking News thread...
HMRC objected to #BWFC request for for further delay but as Judge doing VO with #BWFC at 2pm he's delayed until then.

Re: The breaking News thread...
No reason given by LoVS' man in court. Perhaps it's the fact that it's only just been revealed that the FL has approved the takeover: surely that means we've got different paperwork etc to show the court.BWFC_Insane wrote:For what reason? EDIT LoVS: "Validation order being done at 2pm so judge decided to do whole session then"
In another development, LoVS also tweet this:
Now that intrigues me. Something that might be seen as libellous (therefore derogatory and unprovable) yet will be revealed in court. I can only imagine, and I'm typing very carefully here, that it refers to the structure of the sale and the flow of money. Better not probe too far with that on a public forum. We need a deal to go through.Due to libel laws I can't give out what rumours are this morning. I have to wait until it's announced in court.

Something doesn't fit here. Why have we got a validation order at 2pm, thought we already has one a week ago to allow us to freely trade. Glad the club are explaining what is going on well......Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:No reason given by LoVS' man in court. There is approximately 1.7% that can squeeze in things like:
5. court demolished by asteroid 0.26%
6. Earth demolished by asteroid 0.00000052%
7. Vogons demolish Earth to make room for hyperspatial bypass 0.000000000087%
8. Krishna arrives in court and turns BWFC into a demi-god 0.00000%
