Eh? What are you talking about, Laughing Boy?Worthy4England wrote:bedwetter2 wrote:Is it officially ok to use wazzock, a colloquially acceptable term admittedly, but not generally in use across the world of high finance to describe a vulnerable Canadian banker in over his head?Lost Leopard Spot wrote:But I have to express my bias here. He's Canadian, and I don't see why the BofE is run by a Canadian. And this particular Canadian is keen on plastic bank notes. The wazzock. If we leave the EU can we dump Canadians from public spheres of interest too? Can we have that as a side agenda. I'd be tempted to vote leave if it was tied in...![]()

I thought you were suggesting that he was a vulnerable Canadian banker in over his head? No?

Heard a superb interview with the uber level-headed Mervyn King yesterday. How pleasant it was to hear someone intelligently debate both sides of the issue, as opposed to listening to (and reading) wankers in 'if I shout the loudest' rants.

Cheeky! I only just noticed this. I was suggesting that Mark Carney is used to the financial world and may less experienced at dealing so effectively with the sneeky machinations of our political classes and in particular the use by Cameron, Osborne et al of 'special advisers' or spin doctors as the press may call them.Worthy4England wrote:I thought you were suggesting that he was a vulnerable Canadian banker in over his head? Not sure how Boris can argue that the President of a FEDERAL REPUBLIC of UNITED STATES could be hypocritical by being in favour of the European Union?
I'm also enjoying the despair and confusion by the sort of people who have Union Jacks/St Georges Flags as their avatars on Twitter or follow Britain First on Facebook after discovering that Jeremy Clarkson has come out in favour of the EU, almost as if he always just pretended to be a racist for money.

I'm wondering if having been held over a barrel by Turkey, with all that entails, and agreeing greater visa flexibility and reenergising talks about that county's entry into the EU is meant to make people any more willing to vote "in".
A mantra we're getting is "it'll be 'safer' to be in the EU". It's a pretty meaningless phrase but has had some traction. Clearly bllx then once this starts.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Turkey is a bigger reason for leaving the EU than anything else.bobo the clown wrote:I'm wondering if having been held over a barrel by Turkey, with all that entails, and agreeing greater visa flexibility and reenergising talks about that county's entry into the EU is meant to make people any more willing to vote "in".

Instead of being blackmailed by them, we should be isolating them and let President 'tapped' deal with Putin's inevitable revenge on his Jack Jones.
Ali bag head and Tapped would make fine bed fellows.
Re: Brexit or Britin
Just out of interest Hoboh, if we vote to stay in by a significant majority, will you then stop banging on about the EU and let it lie??
Uma mesa para um, faz favor. Obrigado.
Re: Brexit or Britin
I may seem a bit of a pain about the EU, I have actually got most of what I wanted, a chance to vote on it.Bijou Bob wrote:Just out of interest Hoboh, if we vote to stay in by a significant majority, will you then stop banging on about the EU and let it lie??
If the vote goes the other way to stay in, that's democracy (well the death of it UK anyway
