Watched 'The disappearance of Alice Creed'. On my planner from BBC the other weekend. Strange little film about a kidnapping. That Marsan fella stars, and Gemma Arterton is chained naked to a bed with a ball gag in her mouth. That kept my attention levels up.

Anyone else watching 'Who's the Boss' on BBC2 at the moment? The management of Brewdog have handed over the recruitment process to their employees. Only been watching it for 5 minutes and it's annoying me already. What sort of fecking questions are 'Which 2 celebrities would you like to have as your parents'? and 'How would you empty a 747 full of jelly beans'?

The answer to the latter would have to be, by flying it into your house whilst you, your family and friends are all inside it, you massive c*nt!

They're not far behind Virgin at the top of my corporate-wackiness kill-list. Their Punk IPA is a lovely beer, but the label has a blurb about how they're not like other companies, interspersed with shit "punk puns". Then underneath, in small print, it has the address of Brewdog PLCs's corporate HQ that I think they're required to give for legal reasons.

Because nothing says "punk" more than statutory obligations to your shareholders.

Just watched the final cut of the pilot of my mate's sit-com which has been commisioned by the BBC. It's ace. Called "A Brief History of Tim" and will be on in their shorts programme in summer. Look out for it!

Well, something I won't be watching either tonight or any time soon is Top Gear. Cannot fecking stand it or any of its presenters either past or present. However, I've just been looking at the BBC's website and on it they're saying that they're not going to show some footage of grown men driving a car like feral youths near the Cenotaph (though they have provided a link to the footage on the same page).
Now, Top Gear might well be staffed by objectionable wankers, however, what I don't get is this outrage because the footage was shot near to the Cenotaph. Anyone?

I don't there was that much outrage. More disapproval I'd say, but Top Gear have overreacted I think because they realise that it might hit their already threatened viewing figures. I reckon there's a large proportion of Daily Mail readers in there that they don't want to alienate any further while they're still smarting from the loss of their poster boy Clarkson. It's not something I watch anyway, but if there were a chance of my doing so, it was flushed down the toilet when they managed to find an even bigger wanker than either Clarkson or Hammond to present it.

Watched a film on Sky called "Stretch" bit of a low budget American affair with a few decent cameos. Cracking film with some quite funny bits in it. Definitely recommend it if at a loss for something to watch that's not mind - numbingly complex. Plus it's got Jessica Alba in it, rocking glasses in a sexy Indie-chick/secretary type of way

Anyone see 'Behind closed doors ' on the Beeb last night? A powerful, brutal documentary on domestic violence following three women from reporting an attack to the denouement. Catch it on iplayer if you haven't but beware the opening scenes

Watched one wacky film last night. Western Religion is a real far-fetched offering about a bunch of individual gunfighters all converging on a tent city for a massive game of poker. Memorable more for the characters than the plot it has the excellent Louie Sabatasso as Salt Peter, amongst others and a weird twist at the end. . Passed a couple of hours
