Yup - clearly we don't have an earthly chance here.

Think we have a better chance against Windies than India. Even though the Windies beat us I fancy our improved bowling might make it a closer game.
India on what potentially might have been a spinners wicket sounded pretty tough to me.

Tough either way. Still prefer to play the Windies over India.Worthy4England wrote:Nope, not a cat in hells...(I'd happily return and admit I was completely wrong)

We're good enough to take it this time. A tough shout but there were never any easy ones.

^^ I thought Tango might be in there, not having this reverse jinx malarkey. I'm surprised at Insano.

Yeah I get it. But we've got a good team. I think it is even on the day and just depends who plays best.Worthy4England wrote:^^ I thought Tango might be in there, not having this reverse jinx malarkey. I'm surprised at Insano.
I'm not that bothered if we win or lose it, because the turnaround has been great and I think we finally understand 20 over cricket. No need for reverse jinxes, I'm just glad we're there.

Me too. I think our game management has been excellent - especially against NZ.BWFC_Insane wrote: I think we finally understand 20 over cricket.

Reckon anything below 180 on this is almost a foregone conclusion barring a massive Windies collapse.

Re: 20/20 world cup
See, I reckon 200 whereas Nasa (who obviously knows more about it than I do) said 180. Either way, we're not about to be anywhere near those numbers.BWFC_Insane wrote:Reckon anything below 180 on this is almost a foregone conclusion barring a massive Windies collapse.

This has just become a bit shambolic. Though the Windies just seem to have their name on this trophy. Every little thing going their way.

Root gone with a ridiculous shot. Our only hope now gone. A disaster.
